I've been a customer for years and I'm always very happy. Long live LDLC!
Initially I was looking for a cheap keyboard in the region of twenty euros. An ldlc shop was open. And this shop had a complete display of all types of keyboard (gamer and classic). After carefully testing each of the keyboards in the shop, it became clear that only one of them was as good as you'd expect from a keyboard in 2024. In short, it was love at first sight for this ironclad v3 red blood.
The keyboard case is made entirely of plastic, but there's not a single solidity flaw, no creaking, nothing. The various soundproofing elements (gasket mount, tape mod, soundproofing foam and pre-lubricated switch) help to reduce vibrations and hence switch noise. As for the red blood switches, they are linear, offering an even, unobtrusive keystroke while providing a pleasant resistance under the fingers. As for the finish, the keyboard is well finished but ultra-sober, with no frills like a big sound wheel, screen or brushed aluminium plate. In short, it's basic, but well executed. Before I finish my review, a quick point about the stabilisers: they're not bad, but they could do with some improvement. As they stand, they have a very slight wobble, particularly on the space key.
So I left the shop not with a cheap keyboard, but with the one that would give me the most satisfaction. Next time I'll know, the adage/slogan 'to try it is to adopt it', it works rather well?
A quick word about its installation: like many keyboards in the world of custom keyboards, this one uses QMK and VIA Open Source firmware. This means that you can manage your keyboard without having to install any software and that you can customise your layout as you see fit.
The final word: I love this keyboard?
As the former owner of a Logitech G910 orion spectrum that I adored and killed with a beer accident, I decided on a G915. Big mistake. And here I am today at Designed by GG.
After 1 month of use, I took out my G915 for testing, and what a horror! Straight back to the ironclad.

The after-sales service is brilliant
-The keyboard is designed to be easy to repair and environmentally friendly. Switch hotswap, detachable usb-c cable, availability of spare parts and support from Designed by GG to dismantle/reassemble the keyboard as well as from the discord community. In short, in the majority of cases, you'll have enough to repair rather than have to pay again.
I love dedicated macro keys, and this keyboard has 4 of them, with the option of changing the keycaps with third-party manufacturers. It's just a shame that they're in the top right-hand corner, which isn't great for FFXIV.
Cons
-I find the RGB beautiful but the colours, although very pretty, lack contrast. For example, I find that the blue is quite pale and doesn't contrast enough with the white.
-Chipotage Can't wait for the wireless version!
-It's a shame you can't change your profile using a keyboard shortcut with the Fn key. These don't change automatically with the applications/games.
-Nitpicking I tried the black version in shop and found the keys less legible than on the white version without RGB.
-Lack of information on the brand, I can't find any reports on use after 1 year, but more importantly, 2 years (i.e. after the warranty). No news, good news? I saw a Champion Bane owner encounter LED problems on the discord after two years, after the warranty. Reassuringly, the after-sales service seems to me to have reacted correctly.

a very good quality keyboard, with a thumbwheel to the left of the keyboard to turn the sound up or down.
Two negative points that are personal:
-It's a shame that there aren't direct buttons for changing the music instead of the volume buttons above the pad.
- That the keyboard is not magnetised with the wrist rest (which is sold separately).

I sincerely believe that it destroys most of the major consumer brands in terms of manufacturing quality. You can feel that the product is extremely robust, not to mention the insane responsiveness.
I went to LDLC Montévrain to buy a Steelseries keyboard to replace my Corsair K70 keyboard as I had also recently bought a Steelseries Rival 3 mouse (excellent by the way).
The young salesman I asked for advice recommended this keyboard, and I have to say he was right!
My god, the construction exudes quality, the keyboard is really heavy but compact, the mechanical keys are lubricated and clearly make less noise than those on my Corsair - there's no contest! And the design - no frills, it's sober, not like the usual immaculate white gaming keyboards, but once plugged in the LED lighting is sublime and the effects are really beautiful.
Thanks to the salesperson for pointing me in the direction of this keyboard, explaining that it's sold at the price of a good mechanical keyboard but with the quality of a top-of-the-range keyboard, and I have to say yes, it's clear that I feel like I'm owning a top-of-the-range keyboard. I would recommend it 100% as the value for money is excellent and I would not hesitate to buy a GG keyboard again!
