The Designed by GG Ironclad is a high-end mechanical keyboard that offers the possibility of hot-swapping switches. By replacing the solder with an armature that makes electrical contact, the Ironclad offers the possibility to replace any switch by simply unclipping it and reclipping another one. Not only can you customize your keyboard to your liking, but you can also extend the life of your keyboard indefinitely by replacing only the most heavily used switches.
And that's not all, it also has RGB lighting that you can customise to your liking.
The Designed by GG Ironclad is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Every switch on the keyboard has been lubricated with lubricating oil to not only improve glide, but also to achieve a smoother tactile feedback. The stabilisers of the large keys have also been lubricated. The space bar with its noisy metallic scraping sound is now a memory of another era. The keys are made of PBT, which makes them more resistant to abrasion. Unlike ABS keys, PBT is chemically inert and does not develop a greasy texture after prolonged contact with the skin.
The lettering of the doublehot keys is thermoformed. The letters on the keys are not just etched into the surface paint, they are formed by a plastic structure, running through the entire shell. This method ensures that the lettering will last over time. With a thickness of 1.4mm instead of the standard 0.8mm, these keys are also much more durable.
The Designed by GG Ironclad is equipped with Gateron Brown Mod switches. These are a customised version of the Gateron Brown switches. They are factory lubricated and offer superior glide and reduced noise. A light touch provides accurate confirmation of the hit.

Designed by GG answers all your questions about the products. The keyboard is really pleasant to use, the mechanical keys are removable, everything is customizable. A clip adapted to remove the keys is delivered with it! It's really a must have! I'll take another one for work!
