It has hot-swappable switches to extend the life of the keyboard, as well as Open Source firmware so that users can make the hardware their own.
A customisable keyboard
The Red Blade comes with simple, high-performance original firmware. With a driver that's intuitive to use, you can customise the keyboard's backlighting, reassign keys and create macros with ease. It's the ideal solution for novice users looking for a simple, functional keyboard. For power users, the keyboard is compatible with the Open Source QMK firmware (Fork SonixQMK).
This makes it possible to create advanced shortcuts on several layers and, in general, to have total control over the keyboard.
Unrivalled build quality
The factory-lubricated switches provide a smooth, silent keystroke, with resonance eliminated. The stabilisers are lubricated with PFPE-based grease and do not reflect metallic echoes. The noisy scraping of the space bar will be a memory of another era. The keys are made from PBT, giving you extra resistance to abrasion.
Unlike ABS keys, PBT is chemically inert on contact with the skin and doesn't take on a greasy texture after prolonged use.
