Overview

Unrivalled comfort

The Designed by GG Berserker is a high-end mechanical keyboard offering an enhanced typing experience. Using original lubricated switches to eliminate resonance, it also features a gasket mount construction, offering flexibility when typing. You can also customise it and extend its lifespan almost indefinitely, as the switches are interchangeable. The solder has been replaced by an armature to ensure electrical contact.

Unbeatable

The Designed by GG Berserker offers simple, high-performance original firmware, enabling you to customise the keyboard's backlighting, reassign keys and create macros simply with a dedicated utility. It's the ideal solution for users looking for simplicity. For demanding users, it offers compatibility with the Open Source QMK firmware (Fork SonixQMK), giving you the option of customising all the keyboard's functions. You can create shortcuts on several layers, modify the scroll wheel functions and, in general, completely customise the keyboard's behaviour. The bootloader on a protected partition is directly accessible via a button under the space bar, so you can test the firmware you compile yourself with peace of mind.

If you install faulty firmware, you can force the keyboard to restart in bootloader mode, and reinstall a stable iteration. There's also a debugging interface, so you can plug in an ST-Link and debug any new features you've developed.

Unrivalled build quality

The factory-lubricated switches provide a smooth, silent keystroke and eliminate resonance. The stabilisers are lubricated with PFPE-based grease and do not reflect metallic echoes. The noisy scraping of the space bar will be a memory of another era. The keys are made from PBT, which gives you extra resistance to abrasion. Unlike ABS keys, PBT is chemically inert when it comes into contact with the skin and doesn't take on a greasy texture after prolonged use.

What's more, the lettering on the keys is thermoformed, so they're not just etched in surface paint. They are formed by a plastic structure running through the entire shell. This method ensures that the lettering will last over time.

Red Blood switches

Red Blood switches benefit from an optimised construction. Using high-quality plastic from Germany's BASF, they are gently machine-lubricated with a PFPE-based grease. The central part, the stem, is factory-polished for virtually frictionless glide.

They're ideal for people who want silence and fatigue-free gripping.

    Overhyped keyboard: a big disappointment

    - Rigid gasket (the steel plate doesn't help) .
    - Noisy stabilisers
    - Switches silent but slightly scratchy (much worse than Cherry Silent Red, despite what Cowcotland says)
    - The shell is grainy, I don't know if it's deliberate, but the effect is even worse than on entry-level keyboards priced at 30 €
    - The adjustable feet are also poorly thought out, there's a certain wobble, and what's more, when you try to get the big one out, the little one comes with it, and it doesn't stay in place, which points to a certain design problem.

Compared to my old Ducky One from 2015-2016, it's more comfortable to type on, but for 2024 it's a bit out of date. The keys on the Ducky are better quality, but on this one you get the impression that the legends aren't finished... and that the PBT content is excessively low.

The good thing is that it's a French brand :) If the product was sold in the 60-70€ range I could overlook most of the shortcomings, but for 139€ it's hard to swallow. I'm going to switch back to an ANSI keyboard until something good comes along in AZERTY.

Hopefully an improved version will come out anyway.

    Very good keyboard

I bought this keyboard 2 weeks ago, and frankly the response time is really fluid, it has allowed me to step up on video games where the game requires fairly fast response times.

    My best keyboard

Of all the keyboards I've worked/played with, this is by far the best!
Very fast keys, fairly quiet, well prepared, no keys jam, RGBs are easy to customise.
I've customised one key in the photo but I wouldn't change anything else - it's very well finished and very solid.

    Great keyboard.

I've had lots of mechanical keyboards.
None of them can match this one. It's the best value for money.
Take a look at a few tests on the Internet to see for yourself ;)
    Comfort, typing feel, silence, materials...

    10/10.
