Worked very well for 4 years,
Changed the battery a year ago (although this is not "possible" according to the documentation)
and today, continuous beeping, relay slamming..., no 220V output any more
The product is clearly not designed to last longer than its battery...
The new green LED models... it can't be turned off and it smells like plastic. No service at all by the way. APC finished for me too.
After less than two years of life, the inverter refuses to return to a "normal" cycle after a power surge. The result is a very loud continuous beep that goes off at any time of the day and can only be stopped... by abruptly shutting down the inverter, and therefore the equipment connected to it.
Apparently the problem is known on this brand, so no more APC for me.
Holds a charge well with 1 Mac + 1 printer + a light.
Just a tip: to turn it off you have to unplug it and then press the main button for a long time (if you don't unplug it you can't turn it off)....
...reading the last few comments, one might think that the quality of the product has declined over time. Mine is now a year old and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It hasn't had to be serviced since, and I hope it never has to be, but I don't know how long it will last.
Connected to a switch and two Synology NAS, it can unfortunately only do a soft stop on one, I had to "sacrifice" the other ;-)
Purchased in March 2018, died in December 2020, so a few months after the 2 year warranty. When I opened the bug to find out who was responsible, it was the components on the circuit board that were blown up, not replaceable so ... rubbish and disappointed. It did the job well but I expected more from it
This is my first inverter, so I'm discovering.
First thing, it smells strongly of plastic. Not a problem if it's in the garage.
Be careful, the inverter turns off automatically after 15 minutes if the power consumption is less than 15 W. As my computer equipment consumes about 22 W to 30 W. I thought OK. When it is on mains, the UPS indicates 5%. But when it switches to battery, it indicates 3% (and the load goes below 15W). So the autonomy goes from 105 min possible to 15 minutes with auto off.
The efficiency of the whole is not great. The power consumption (measured externally) of the whole computer rack went from 25 W on average without the UPS to 40 W with the UPS once the battery was charged.
The USB output works well under linux with apcupsd. Useful for monitoring with the home automation box (Jeedom + APC plugin).
Delivery on the LDLC side, as mentioned several times, it is delivered in its own box, no packing box, so it arrives a bit stale and the corners poached, but ok inside. I'm not sure if it's a good one, but it's a good one, and I'm not sure if it's a good one, but I'm not sure if it's a good one.

bought on 24/11/2017 worked well for 2 years 1./2 and yesterday noise of relays that slam....more power output..I stop it and then impossible to restart it . hissing continuously and no light on...
I thought it was the battery...but no the battery is good and don,c I see I'm not the only one to have the same problem between 2 and 3 years
I will not buy this brand again....
The plastic of which the inverter is made smells so bad that its nauseating odour spreads throughout my office. I returned it after a few days of use, so I can't comment on its technical qualities. I still give it a very bad mark as it is unusable for me. If you are not too sensitive to smells and you do not plan to receive customers, you should not have any problem.

After 3 and a half years: all of a sudden BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP continuously and after investigations (Reset, support, forum etc) the card would be dead.
it smells like programmed obsolescence....
I'm going to look for another brand.
It seems to work.
I bought two. And it literally smells bad. A smell of electronics getting hot or something. I hope it goes away, otherwise I'll send them back, because it's not bearable in the long run.
Especially because it gives you a headache.
Another point:
The inverters according to shneider (APC's parent company) should not be connected to an extension cord but directly to the wall. It wasn't written on the LDLC specifications... so I don't know why I shouldn't do this and I have no choice anyway.

The product corresponds perfectly to my needs: protection of my NAS.
It is easy to connect, and the NAS recognises it in a few clicks. No noise pollution.
I have to say that I'm very happy with the product.

UPS set up to protect my NAS, eventually also used for the internet box and TV. It works perfectly and warns with a beep when the power goes out. It is connected via a USB 2.0 cable to the NAS so that it can shut down if the power goes out and the UPS battery runs down. I've been using it for 6 months now, no problems.
Originally purchased to protect a 140cm Oled TV and a ps4 pro, but it proved insufficient. It has changed its role and now protects a NAS + my router. No electrical noise, Schneider Electric quality. Very good, I only reproach the absence of an LED screen, but the price is perfectly positioned.
Buy for two synology nas (ds212j and ds218play), does the job perfectly in a region where power outages are frequent. Easy to install.
I do not regret this purchase and highly recommend it.

Usb connection between the NAS and the UPS: recognized directly by the NAS, interface on the NAS (qnap) to program a stop after a certain time without power.

20 minutes with NAS + PC. Plenty of time to shut down everything properly in case of a long power outage.

Following the regrouping in a flush-mounted box of the fai box, a switch and an eedomus home automation box, an inverter was needed. Not too big in a mini cupboard.
It's done and it works. The home automation box recognized it without any problem.
Now we just have to test it by switching off the differential switch

I bought this inverter for my Synology DS416 NAS and I am very happy with it.
+ It supports the UPS function which allows you to manage the shutdown of the NAS in case of a long power outage.
+ It is possible to connect the components (3) directly to the rear panel.
It is important to keep the manual because the number of "beeps" and the front light play a role in the diagnosis of a failure.
I highly recommend it :)

Perfect for protecting a tower and a screen. No Linux version of the management software, but no matter, apcupsd does the job.
I had also plugged my laser printer into it, but obviously that's too much to ask. Tower + screen it is...
I was able to simulate dozens of failures with this UPS in operation and everything seems to work as it should.
On the other hand, it is heavier than the models I've already handled. Everything seems to be working fine so far.
I bought it to prevent my box from rebooting during the few power cuts I experienced.
I plugged in box, TV and phone.
Does its job properly.
I have connected to this inverter a medium tower ATX PC with 500w power supply (3 hard disks + external FW sound card) + 24" screen + freebox server + freebox player.
It's holding up well.
I haven't tested how long.
This is not the first one I have installed and I am still very satisfied.
The beeps are loud enough to be heard when in use and are not unpleasant.

I bought a UPS to protect a Synology DS413j NAS.
It is perfectly recognized and works very well.
It also has the advantage of regulating the numerous voltage rises and falls in my home.

No need for a novel to say that it works but Ldlc wants 200 characters.
I've tested it twice and had a blackout once, the PC doesn't move, it's like there's always power :-)
The only problem is that the USB cable is not included :-(

The only problem is that after 2 months the inverter has a problem, the warranty is being returned, no worries if your inverter has a problem.
Perfect for my use and my micro power cuts. Very quickly inspires confidence in both the build quality and the factory test report taped to the device
It does its job silently and without heating up more than it should, so it is quickly forgotten.
Bought for my Synology DS1815+ NAS (8 HDD), it does the job perfectly.
To have some margin (2 cuts in a row, without the time to completely recover), the NAS is programmed to stop after 10 minutes of cut.
Does not make any noise.
Slight odour the first few days (largely bearable).
Purchased to secure the power supply for a small data server. It does its job, perfect against the frequent micro outages my locality suffers.
I have not tested the software.
As another comment said, strong plastic smell for a few days then it fades.
On the negative side, I would say that it lacks a status display, and that its look is has-been. But who cares, the inverter lives hidden :)
Buy to protect a NAS Qnap TS453 pro. Recognized directly by the NAS in USB about 58 minutes of autonomy. Signals power outages both audibly and by notifying the NAS, which shuts down within 5 minutes of the outage.
The 6 kg of this inverter gives confidence.
Installing the software under Windows XP Pro SP3 is no problem. The information it provides is clear... and this is where I was a little disappointed.
What I have connected theoretically allows 18 minutes of activity after a power cut. That's fine. But the "personal" setting does not allow more than 8 minutes.
On a previous device I had the double which allowed me not only to do the applications in progress but also to finish a work sequence instead of resuming it afterwards without knowing where you were.
Apart from that, excellent.
