Combined with a high quality digital audio/streaming playback system developed by Matrix Audio engineers, called MA Player, and the MA Remote App, it can be used to control the Matrix Audio network. The mini-i 4 is a product that has been upgraded with ESS' latest ES9039Q2M D/A chip. It features carefully tuned audio circuits, as well as high-quality audio components. It features optimised circuitry, including very high SNR and extremely low distortion, giving you excellent performance for a variety of music types.
Its 3.46" LCD touchscreen makes operation easier. The high-resolution display enriches the metadata of tracks currently playing and the status of the device, while theMA Remote applicationoffers convenient human-machine interaction. You can enjoy a varied selection of music sources and a more enjoyable music listening experience.
Matrix Audio applications for your mini-i 4
MA player is a high-quality digital audio/streaming playback control system developed by Matrix Audio. With MA player, you can operate and control your mini-i 4 via your smartphone or tablet within your local network. What's more, MA player also integrates Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, allowing you to enjoy high-resolution audio streaming over your network.
The MA Remote app is developed by Matrix Audio and is available for iPhone, iPad or Android phones. With these devices, you can browse and play high-resolution online audio from TIDAL and Qobuz, listen to Internet radio stations, adjust all hardware settings, check and install new firmware for your mini-i 4.

The mini-i 4 supports music playback from USB and NAS storage devices. It indexes the storage and automatically creates a music library based on these storage sources. Music files will be categorised under "Library" in the MA Remote application, making it easy to find the music you want by album, track, artist, etc. Simply browse and listen to your music collections.
The mini-i 4 is well equipped. It has stereo RCA and optical inputs, a USB port and more. You can connect this magnificent network audio player to your TV via HDMI eARC (sampling rate supported up to PCM 24 bit/192 kHz) and experience exceptional audio immersion.It's also equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet connection to ensure stability and sufficient transmission speed when playing high-resolution audio files, so get ready to enjoy a sublime musical feast.
The mini-i 4 supports several network streaming protocols. As well as Roon Ready and AirPlay, it also supports DLNA/UPnP, TIDAL Connect and Spotify Connect. This means you can stream audio via different devices and platforms, and the mini-i 4 supports vTuner Internet Radio and Radio Paradise.
