Featuring Wi-Fi 6 for greater capacity and improved performance, theHPE Networking Instant On AP22D is the ideal access point for small businesses with ever-increasing mobile, cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) requirements. The HPE Networking Instant On AP22 is, at every level, designed for rapid deployment and simplified management. Whether it's mounting hardware or managing devices remotely, or accessing the latest business software, the AP2D2 exists to make your life easier.
The AP22D is the most versatile version of the AP22. It has the same antenna array and spatial streams (2x2:2), plus a 2.5 GbE uplink port and four 1 GbE downlink ports for wired devices. The AP22D is also able to provide PoE (Power over Ethernet) power to two of the downlink ports at 15W (PoE 802.3af) when powered by PoE Class 6 802.3bt or the optional DC power supply. This makes the AP22D ideal for IP phones or receipt printers in areas that require additional Ethernet ports and where only one Ethernet port is available in the room. The AP22D has an integrated wall mount and can be desk-mounted using the included bracket.

- 1024-Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (1024-QAM): Enables a 25% increase in data compared to 256-QAM, improving capacity within your APs and devices.
- Transmission Beam Forming (TXBF): Offers increased signal reliability and range.
- Low Density Parity Check (LDPC): Provides highly efficient error correction for improved capacity.
- Trusted Platform Module (TPM): All HPE Networking Instant On Access Points have a TPM installed to ensure secure storage of credentials, keys and boot codes.
