USB-C, Lightning, Bluetooth aptX HD and Bluetooth LDAC
To connect the HB1 to your smartphone or tablet, two cables are supplied. You can choose between a USB-C cable and a Lightning cable.
The HB1 can also be used as a Bluetooth receiver, so you can enjoy all your favourite music wirelessly. Thanks to its Qualcomm CSR8675 controller, the HB1 supports aptX, aptX HD and LDAC codecs for high-speed transmission at up to 24-bit/96kHz. The result is wireless listening that's livelier, more detailed and more immersive. The HB1 also supports SBC and AAC codecs for full compatibility with all your Bluetooth devices.

The HB1 is equipped with its own MEMS microphone designed by Knowles. Featuring Qualcomm's cVc 8.0 technology, this microphone ensures optimum voice capture, giving you clear, crisp calls without interference. Clear Voice Capture technology removes all background noise so your calls are perfectly audible.
The Astell&Kern HB1 portable headphone amplifier comes with its own 600 mAh rechargeable battery. This offers up to 6 hours of autonomy.
