Quality design
Proprietary PowerDrive power circuit technology offers a remarkable combination of ample power for the most demanding loudspeakers and a high level of dynamic power without distortion. Bjørn Erik Edvardsen ("BEE"), long-time product designer at NAD, has developed a special version of the PowerDrive for the C 316BEE V2.
You'll find a calculation circuit requiring fewer parts and components that do not affect the efficiency of the device. It delivers 2 x 40 Watts of power and even up to 120 Watts at 4 Ohms dynamic power.

For this V2 version, the NAD C 316BEE amplifier incorporates an RIAA phono stage combining low noise and high overload margins. As a result, noise and distortion are eliminated, RIAA equalisation is precise and you get an infrasonic filter.
This model has extensive connectivity, with 4 stereo audio inputs at the rear and a 3.5 mm jack input and headphone output at the front. Finally, when the C 316BEE V2 remains on standby, it consumes less than 1 W.
