    External hard drive connection to Thunderbolt 4 port failed :-(

    I'm trying in vain to connect a Samsung T7 Shield External Hard Drive via the ThunderBolt 4 port on the computer for better speeds but it's not stable, it keeps disconnecting.
    I have the test on DellSupportAssit which tells me that there are failures on the PCI and "universal srial bus (usb) controller
    I have updated the drivers but the problem persists & I can't get anyone at DELL service.

    NB: The HDD is not defective and works on USB 3.2 (5 Gbs/s)

    It's still a bit of a shame for a computer at this price
