As I don't need a sophisticated computer, the LDLC SPC-I3-8-240 laptop solution suits me very well.
There was no delay in delivery. The reception at the collection point was simple with the order reference.
The computer starts up well. It opens recent standard files.
I'll see if it proves adequate over time for what I want to use it for.
Really very good, with just one comment: the installation is not done with a separate /home, which is preferable for later re-installation.
I had to tinker to correct this minor fault before putting the machine into service.
Please note! Beware of Mint's Timeshift automatic backup system, which is known to saturate disks quickly. If you use it, remember to limit the number of backups.
I mainly use it for media (series, films and videos) and a bit of office work, and the PC is very good for these uses.
Coming from Windows, no problem adapting to Mint (except for the night-light, where it took me 3 days to find a programme that suited me).
Well received, immediately functional, and it was a pleasure to configure on the PC my printer hp smart 2723e, it took me less than 2 minutes, printed and scanned and connected in wifi, it was done alone, it's the first time it happens to me. Bravo et merci .
I3 for speed, Linux mint for lightness and the "free" spirit, it's my first computer where I don't have to format to reinstall or risk making a few mistakes... as a result, a computer with rather nice value for money.
