Audiophile construction
Equipped with the Hypex HybridDigital nCore amplifier circuitry, the C 399 can deliver 180 Watts of continuous power per channel while offering a wide bandwidth and flat frequency response. Noise and distortion are extremely low under all operating conditions. This design allows this NAD amp to produce a neutral, distortion-free sound even at very high listening levels.
Inside, you'll also find the high-resolution ESS Sabre 9028 DAC, designed for near-zero clock jitter, ultra-low noise and distortion, and wide dynamic range.
Rich Connectivity and MDC Slots
The NAD C 399 amplifier features an MM phono stage with ultra-precise RIAA equalization, extremely low noise and high overload margins. It has two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, as well as an HDMI-eARC port for playback from a connected TV. Pre-amp output jacks and two subwoofer outputs are also available.
Bi-directional Bluetooth apt-X HD allows 24-bit streaming from mobile devices and high-quality output to Bluetooth headsets. A dedicated headphone amplifier with low output impedance and high output voltage is also integrated, allowing the C 399 to drive high-impedance studio monitoring headsets. Finally, two MDC slots allow you to upgrade your amp with an optional BluOS module, among other things.
