to replace my old 200Mb PLCs, easy to install, just push a button to synchronise them, I've more than doubled the speed (170/150mb/s) - there's software to manage them, but I haven't installed it yet.
These PLC TP-LINK TL-PA7017P, have the important possibility in my eyes, to be able to allow the RJ45 plug to be in high or low position (the 2 ground plugs, on the gigogne plug, are located at 180°) it is rather rare on the PLC, at least on the pictures of the commercial sites, of which LDLC. This advantage allows me to connect these PLCs directly to the sockets located on electric baseboards (10cm high), with RJ45 output upwards. The photos for the other brands should be more explicit, few photos show the male trunking part, which would allow the choice of one or two earth sockets. Also, slightly faster exchange between the box and the TV (formerly 500Mb/sec). I've been using it for a while now, but it's not a problem. Hopefully the reliability will be there...see you later.
Thanks to PLCs I now have access to fibre in all my rooms in the house.
Very easy to install, just plug into an electrical socket and press a small button to make them communicate with each other.
