Good value for money, works perfectly and simply. Since 2021 without any problems.
Simple, reliable and easy to install/synchronise with other PLC boxes. No particular problems.
Order received the day after ordering. The item was exactly what I was looking for
This product works very well overall, and gives me a fast wired connection (>700 Mbps real) where my wi-fi doesn't, without having to pull a cable. The only downside I find is the lack of detailed instructions meaning you have to contact D-Link customer service for any problems. On installation, these powerline units are plug-and-play and work. After five months of use, I suffered from the PLCs becoming out of sync. After submitting a support ticket, the only way to get them back in sync was to plug both powerline devices into the same power strip and push a paper clip into the "reset" hole on the bottom of the devices for 15 seconds. The fact that you have to put both devices into the same power strip and push for 15 seconds, as well as the direction of the different lights, should have been specified in a manual.Note that the effectiveness of the powerline devices may depend on the quality and age of your electrical circuit. If you think you have a good electrical system, a power strip, a paper clip, and a way to contact customer service in case of problems, I recommend this device.
These two powerline modules worked immediately and the network is stable. I did not want a wifi repeater or cable to connect computers on the upper floor of the house.
These PLC's work with ease, the RJ45 cable supplied with it is a bit short but not too disabling.
The only negative point is the speed: as I have fibre optic cables, I thought it would be good to get a model that supports 1000mbs.
When the PC is connected to the box: a speed of 890mbs.
When the PC is connected to the PLC in the next room: 150mbs
I know that this is partly due to the electrical wiring but such a loss I did not expect.
The positive point is a stable connection with an average latency of : 7.750mbs which is correct.
I didn't want to make holes and run a 20/30 meter rj45 cable...
To be seen in time.
I hesitated for a long time to test a PLC because my electrical installation is more than 50 years old and is not the cleanest.
Disappointed by the wifi repeater which was not stable, I gave a chance to this PLC.
It's easy to use, just plug it in!
I am much closer to the speed in my box than through the wifi repeater, and the device is 1000x more stable I have no loss of connection.
Really for the price I can only recommend it.
I have been trying to find a solution to my problem, but I have not found one yet, so I have decided to contact the LDLC technical service. The service gave me the telephone number of the D-Link technical service, with whom I repeated the same operations. Conclusion, the PLCs are defective.
Bought this a few days ago because the reinforced concrete wall between my PC and my box is causing strong instabilities in Wi-Fi. The installation was Plug & Play, no configuration needed, and it works very well.
Actual speed: 130 Mbps down / 125 Mbps up; far from 1000 but I think my ISP is the culprit. In any case, my instability problem is solved.
Some reviews complain about noise, but I didn't hear anything except a barely perceptible hissing sound that lasted a fraction of a second when I plugged in.
Very good,
fulfils its role perfectly, the RJ45 cables supplied may be a little short depending on the distance and configuration of your installation
