First of all, it's great value for money. Secondly, it's very easy to use and, last but not least, it's very effective! I really recommend it!
Hello ,
They do the job, but they whistle really loudly, it's quite shrill.
I'd like to change them because of the noise, which is a shame.
The 2 boxes are compact and easy to install. However, they are noisy. A permanent whistling sound. Whether your box/ordi/switch is switched on or not.
Bear in mind that you need to forget power strips and plug the 2 boxes directly into the wall socket, otherwise the start is almost non-existent (< 15mbits).
I had ordered a new D-LINK DHP-601AV kit here because it was exactly the same model as the one I already had (one of whose two modules had apparently just died). The intention was to be able to combine the old module and the two new modules with each other... The instructions indicate that this is possible. As I have just received a slightly different (more compact) model, I can only hope for compatibility between the two variants... The future will tell me if the mixed pairing works or not. As for the price, even if I had to buy a different model, I could have bought a cheaper model elsewhere. I'm not exchanging the product because I need internet quickly but I'm disappointed. Please update the product picture!!!
