The negative.

In short, it's good overall.
Powerline adapters pair up instantly and allow machines to be networked across the electrical grid. However, the speed observed between the two adapters varies between 35 and 50 Mbps (far from the 1000 Mbps advertised). This may be due to my electrical network or the distance between the two adapters (hence the relatively good score). However, I would have appreciated a way to estimate the throughput (based on criteria to be defined) to avoid unrealistic expectations, followed by disappointment.
Bought in order not to be in WiFi anymore, the result is very good.
The positive :
- Simple to use like all powerline devices, it's plug-and-play.
- Open PLC with filtered sockets.
- Button to secure the connection.
- A small manual provided.
- Data rate respected; as indicated on the data sheet.
- LEDs to indicate basic information.
- Two Ethernet cables (RJ45) supplied.
- Automatic shutdown when not in use (to save energy).
- Quality seems to be present (to be seen over time).
The negative :
- PLCs can sometimes "forget" their association.
- As with all PLCs, it is necessary to ensure that they can "breathe" (to avoid overheating).
In short:
I tested them on VDSL2 line, on Fibre line, and the speed is respected.
Although not without flaws, these PLCs do the job perfectly.
I'm going from a 650Mb/s router output to 110 Mb/s PLC output.
I divide my speed by 6, which makes them completely useless.
Bought it and plugged it in and off it goes. It works instantly, great, I didn't have to drill holes everywhere. I also like the socket function and the standby function when the socket is not in use.
I highly recommend this product. I have to say that my electrical installation is very recent, perhaps this is the condition to use these sockets without any problems.
