Good build quality and very (too?) spacious
I don't really have any complaints about the Meshify 2 XL: the installation is easy because of its good design, the materials used are of good quality which makes it solid but also particularly heavy, the ventilation is efficient... all this with a very sober design, which is exactly what I was looking for.
Concerning its size, if it contributes to the ease of installation (you have all the space you want), there are strong chances that the space it offers will be under-used, except for specific needs (in terms of storage for example or for motherboard formats higher than ATX). It can also make some connections complicated because the length of the cables can be a bit short (this was the case with my 24-pin ATX cable, I thought I wouldn't be able to connect it to the motherboard), or even insufficient.
For example: I replaced the two pre-mounted Dynamic X2 GP-14 front panel fans with Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM. The latter come with a 30cm NA-SEC1 extension cable. Sensing that this would not be enough to connect the front of the case to the fan hub at the back, I bought two extra extension kits to get 90cm of cable per fan.
This may sound like a lot, but in reality it was exactly what was needed! The "XL" label should be taken seriously!
I can recommend this case without any problem, even though its dimensions exceed the most common use.
