Disappointing
Monstrously heavy. On the other hand, it's tough. Removing the side plates from the case is an ordeal when you want to put them back on. Venting the hot air at the top of the case with a watercooling radiator is very inefficient.
State-of-the-art cooling systemThe be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev.2 has an innovative design that provides outstanding performance, efficient cooling and perfect ventilation in an inaudible manner. Monstrously heavy. On the other hand, it's tough. Removing the side plates from the case is an ordeal when you want to put them back on. Venting the hot air at the top of the case with a watercooling radiator is very inefficient.
I am very disappointed with the result, some of the screws require an extra long screwdriver with a magnet, otherwise the screw falls straight into the tube.
The power supply part is much too difficult to access
the fan management does not work properly
- Dear
- design error
- not as quiet as promised
I'll leave it at that
Simply ....Rapidite.... and great advice from LDLC ( even if for my 50 years I don't have the - 50% LOL MDR)
The tower itself is very well done ... I've been using it for a while now and I'm very happy with it........................................................

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a USB flash drive or not, but it is. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a shielded cable to get the usb ports to recognize the usb keys...
For a case that is supposed to be modular, it is not at all practical: full of small screws and obliged to dismantle everything for the slightest change. The power supply is offset with a system of small extension creating compatibility problems that do not exist on a case not using this system without interest: attention not compatible with certain power supplies as the AX1600i of corsaire but it is not specified anywhere! and icing on the cake, while this case is sold compatible motherboard E atx, with such a card, the system of water cooling does not hold !!!! and that too it is never specified. It is presented everywhere as a high-end case that can accept everything = false advertising.
I am giving this rating because I received my box with the front door warped,
There is an element that obstructs the door and it cannot close properly.
I have received my case with the front door warped, there is an element that obstructs the door and it can't close properly. Despite this defect, it remains a good quality case.
Large and very modular tower with many possible configurations.
Plenty of room for any graphics card format without custom water cooling. With a tank it is better to do the math.
The controller for the leds and fans is great. You can choose between control with the pot at the front or through the motherboard by placing the pot all the way to the left. The same goes for the LEDs, if you keep pressing the button to change the colour you can switch to motherboard control.
The 2.5" modular bays are the best I have seen on the market today. They are not only beautiful but very efficient for ventilation.
Cable management is top notch with the guides.
The finish is perfect, the materials are of excellent quality.
The fans supplied are silent wings 3, worth a total of about 90 euros. This is a huge advantage over other cases in the same price range.
Be careful to choose your screwdriver and press well on the screws to avoid damaging them. They are very tight, which is in fact an advantage to avoid the noise of pans.
You have to take your time to dismantle the interior, especially the power supply cover. There are two screws on the right side that seem inaccessible, it is useless to try to unscrew them, they are not really useful.
In short, this is an excellent case, especially if you like modularity and minimalist interiors.
Excellent tower, modular beyond any expectations one could ever have and extremely functional. However, the instructions are unbearable, if not practically useless, and it's a shame to pay almost 300 quid to end up blowing the head off several screws that are far too tight to be unscrewed by hand with a screwdriver.
Very good tower, which just needs some time to get used to but which does the job very well afterwards.
Quiet, very good ergonomics (we will appreciate among other things the small controller behind the right panel which gathers all the connectors of the fans and led lighting).
But be careful with the glass, it is beautiful but fragile ... If it falls even 3 cm on a hard surface, it will end up like a house of cards. So I would advise you to be extremely careful when handling it: put the tower flat or something underneath to receive the glass ... replacement panels are not cheap.
Apart from that, this is an excellent tower with the best airflow I've ever seen so far. (there is literally nothing between the front/rear fans and the CM)
