Sober, spacious and well designed
I don't really like RGB. So I was looking for a housing with a nice desing and without LEDs. This one is perfect. The front shield is imposing and really beautiful. There is a small white light strip at the top right of the front panel, hidden behind the grille that gives info on power on (left part fixed) and hard drive operation if you have one (right part flashing).
The case is spacious. I was able to mount my Noctua NH-U12A cooling unit without any problem. There is still room for larger cooling units.
I mounted 8 140mm fans. 1 rear, 3 top, 3 front and 1 bottom. CAUTION. You can mount two fans on the bottom. However, if you mount the second fan on the bottom, you will not be able to connect your power cables to the power supply. I have a Corsair HX1000 80PLUS Platinum power supply and there was no room left for the cables.
I left the 3 fans supplied with the case by fractal, as they are very well made and quiet. I completed with Noctua NF-A14 PWM fans.
The assembly was very easy. There is plenty of room for cables to the motherboard. Plenty of grommets. All necessary screws and bolts are included. The fan hub at the back of the case is very convenient.
The only negative point of the case is the front panel which I find difficult to remove. You have to force it out of the case. Fortunately, it's a tough one. I take off half a star for this point.
If you are looking for a sober case that can accommodate a large configuration, go for it. The case is very well ventilated and solid.
