Bought to replace an old amp, I rediscovered my recordings as well in CD as in vinyl. The sound is not at all aggressive with Focal 716V speakers which are starting to date but still very good. No need to change the bass and treble settings. Some nice settings like the volume setting at start up at a predefined volume. This avoids having a surprise when starting a playback. The only thing missing is the adjustment of the levels between the different sources (quite a difference between vinyl and CD). The phono preamp is excellent. No problem with the bluetooth connected to an iPad.
