A card that lives up to expectations and lasts! Mounted in an in-house server, it has been running 24 hours a day for 3 years without failing.
Please note: if the M.2 SATA slot is used, two SATA3 slots are unusable!
This card has everything I needed. Already equipped with two ASRocks, why look any further?
The trouble comes with the management of the USB ports. I should have known better: there are more settings available than there are ports on the card! See here: https://imgur.com/a/us17cyq
Besides, the BIOS and boot times were incredibly long until I disabled the USB3 ports!
Once in the OS (debian, ubuntu, archlinux) I get lags on the keyboard or mouse, and messages like: "client bug: event processing lagging behind by 14ms, your system is too slow" or "kernel: usb usb1-port1: connect-debounce failed" In short, everything is fine except that it takes three hours between a click and its effect, not to mention the scrolling. This problem is also found on windows, but ASRock seems to be ignoring it. I'm waiting for an answer from LDLC to see what can be done. I would love to have a fully functional motherboard.
