You can connect the U.2 PCI-E drive directly to the adapter, making it easier to optimise your system's performance and increase overall internal storage capacity.
The expansion card allows you to take full advantage of the fast performance and compact size of the internal U.2 PCI-E SSDs. The adapter connects directly to your computer's motherboard to support a U.2 PCI-E NVMe SSD via an ultra-fast PCI-E x4 slot. Once the U.2 PCI-E drive is installed, the adapter gives your computer a significant speed boost.
The expansion card has a full-height bracket and requires no adapter cable for installation, reducing space and simplifying system design. The drive connects directly to the SFF-8639 connector on the adapter, and the adapter connects directly to the computer's motherboard.
