I bought this device to extend an HDMI cable for an Oculus Rift cask.....
device with external power supply sold without power supply........ when I plug in the cask I don't even have an image. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy a new one, but I'm sure it's a good idea to buy a new one. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it from LDLC or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea.
I needed to transmit the video from the computer to the TV behind an HDMI 2.0 splitter and a 15m HDMI 2.0 cable which only transmits 10.2Gbps due to its length. In these conditions this device does not work even between the 15m cable and the TV when it is supposed to accept 25 meters on the source side. A simple 2-input, 1-output splitter did the trick as a replacement, although this is not its role at all.
