Excellent for certain situations where you need to duplicate a screen on an overhead projector, for example, or a large screen. I'm taking off one star because I missed something when I ordered: The splitter only splits the HDMI signal in two. In other words, you won't be able to have two different screens on the HDMI, but rather two screens merged into one.

This is a dual input.
Very useful if you have orange live boxes, as there's more than one HDMI input.

Nevertheless, I recommend this product.
I bought this adapter because my TV only has 2 HDMI sockets.
I wanted to connect 2 additional devices (Chromecast and xbox) to avoid unplugging and replugging. I've unplugged the xbox, and only plugged the Chromecast into one of the sockets, but it doesn't work on the other socket (I get static on the screen and the image oscillates between grey and black). In conclusion, I may have been unlucky but only one of the 2 sockets is ok. Not expensive but not reliable and risky purchase. I'm going to test the LDLC after sales service.
