With its deeper fin stack and the inclusion of the popular NF-A14PWM fan, the NH-C14S single fan model provides the same level of cooling as its two-fan predecessor, and even offers greater flexibility.

CPU cooler for Intel and AMD sockets

Overview

High-end Ventirad based on the famous NH-C14

The successor of the famous NH-C14the NH-C14S is a top-flow fan for high-powered CPUs with great compatibility and modularity. Thanks to its deeper fin stack and the integration of the famous NF-A14PWMfan, the NH-C14S single fan model provides the same level of cooling as its predecessor with two fans and even more flexibility.

The fan is mounted on top of the heatsink to accommodate RAM modules up to 70mm in size. RAM modules up to 70mm high. Installing the fan below the heatsink ensures compatibility with many compatibility with many HTPC cases due to the full height of the cases with a total heights of up to 115mm. In addition, the remote design allows the last PCIe slot on most µATX and ATX motherboards to be cleared. Complemented by the high-end multi-socket mounting system SecuFirm2high-end multi-socket mounting system, the popular NT-H1 thermal paste thermal paste, and backed by a 6-year full manufacturer's warrantythe NH-C14S is a high performance, high quality top-flow solution for the most demanding users.

C-shaped design for optimum flow

The optimised C-shaped design of the NH-C14S ensures optimal quiet cooling while minimising the overall height compared to traditional 140mm tower fans. This design also ensures excellent ventilation of memory modules and components adjacent to the socket on the motherboard.

Offset design

Compared to the design of the original NH-C14, the new NH-C14S offers a double axial offset design. Such a design allows it, on most µATX and ATX motherboards, to free up space at the last PCIe slot (the heatpipe bends face the PCIe ports or rear connector panel).

Low profile" mounting

The installation of a single NF-A14 PWM fan attached to the underside of the fin stack gives the NHC14S a total height of only 115mm, much less than traditional tower fans with 120 or 140mm fans, making this design ideal for many desktop / HTPC cases.

Wide space" mounting

The installation ofa single NF-A14 PWM fan at the top of the heatsink allows for more air space under the fin stack. This type of mounting offers perfect compatibility with RAM modules equipped with 70mm high heatsinks as well as with socket heatsinks.

SecuFirm2 mounting system

Noctua SecuFirm2 mounting systems have come to embody quality, security and ease of mounting. Compatible with Intel LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156), LGA2011(LGA2011-0 & LGA2011-3) and AMD (AM4, AM3(+), AM2(+), FM1, FM2(+)), the SecuFirm2 system supplied with the NH-C14S ensures perfect contact pressure and ease of installation on all current sockets.

6-year manufacturer's warranty

Noctua products have earned a solid reputation for outstanding quality and durability. Like all Noctua fans, the NF-A14 PWM has an MTBF of over 150,000 test hours and the NH-C14S package comes with a 6-year manufacturer's warranty.

    Excellent

It's Noctua, it's efficient and very reliable (no risk of pump failure). It's more than enough to cool down a Ryzen 5 5600X which is barely heating up. The top flows are not necessarily the most efficient in absolute terms, but I like the look (if you like brown and beige) and it sends a constant flow of air over the ram and vrm which is not a bad thing. But if you have ram's with led's it will hide them.

    Excellent Vetirad

Installed in a NCase M1, excellent ventirad, very nice with a side window by placing the fan in low profile position.
Be careful however in a NCase M1 the 140 Supplied fan will not fit, you need a 120mm max.

    A little expensive but effective

Tired of the unreliability of AIO toilets ("cardboard" pumps that fail), I went back to fans.

Easy to install, this Noctua fan, with two 140 mm push-pull fans, keeps a Xeon E5-2687W at less than 65°C at full load, while absorbing nearly 150 W. All of this with an appreciable silence (24 dB at 1 m measured with a sound level meter). Being top-flow, the CPU VRMs and RAM modules are also well cooled.

Only the price is a little tingling, but the result is quickly forgotten.

    A good product

A very good product that does its job silently
Beware of small cases as it is huge
processor at 40° in Idle and does not exceed 55¨ in load
I recommend it if you don't want to ruin yourself with a watercooling

Efficient even on an energetic processor

Installed on an Intel Devil i7 4790k, the heatsink dissipates heat so well that the CPU remains at 20°C at idle and 45°C in very demanding software.
Nevertheless, this performance was achieved in a very well ventilated case and with 2 Prolimatech Vortex Ultra Seek 14 fans of 98 CFM each.
I recommend this radiator for its acceptable dissipation and volume. The Noctua fan can easily be used as a case fan at low speed.
