Joystick (PC and PlayStation 3 compatible)

Overview

The first PS3 joystick, PC compatible and ready to use

Thrustmaster, the inventor of the joystick, has 15 years of experience in the joystick market, giving the brand an excellent understanding of consumer expectations in this area. One thing is clear: a large number of potential users of flight games do not take the plunge simply because they are afraid of the difficulties involved in getting started with this type of game. As a result, they miss out on the total immersion provided by handling the control stick! Thrustmaster opens the doors to this universe with the T.Flight Stick X, which has the advantage of being plug & play, benefiting from the presets of the best games in this category, and being the world's first joystick for Playstation 3! What's more, it's PC compatible!

Thrustmaster's latest joystick is not just easy to use. It has everything it takes to faithfully reproduce the sensations of driving. The T.Flight Stick X plays the realism card to the full: weighted base for great stability even during sudden manoeuvres, wide handrest for comfort of use, rapid fire trigger for optimised performance, rudder for efficient flat turns, throttle for metering the throttle, multidirectional Chinese hat...but it is also on a technological level that the T.Flight Stick X proves to be particularly formidable, with functions that are now Thrustmaster's signature: mapping to permute each of the 12 buttons and 4 axes according to your preferences, presets to switch instantly from one programming to another, and finally, internal memory to save your latest programming.

Totally Plug & Play and pre-programmed, the T.Flight Stick X allows immediate use without the need for prior settings in the game options! Whether you are playing Microsoft's "Flight Simulator X" and "Acceleration" on PC or Ubi Soft's "Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII" on Playstation 3, once the T.Flight Stick X is plugged in you can immediately retract or extend the landing gear, retract or extend the flaps, trim the nose of the aircraft up or down...simply by pressing the button provided.

    Very good joystick

The joystick is as I expected, I have had the same one in the past and was very happy with it, it is immediately recognized by windows without a third party driver, the only flaw I find is the base is a bit large and not heavy enough.

    Imposing

Very good controller, I used it for Rogue Squadron and it does the trick.

Just plug it in, nothing to configure, great stuff.

    Perfect for MSFS

It is compatible with Windows 10 and especially Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. It also works very well with FSX. Fast delivery, competitive price, I am delighted.

Yes, well, it's only 40 euros...

For the price, it's what you'd expect, but nothing more because it's clearly not a Cougar or a Wartog. On the plus side, I note the good stability and comfort of the hand on the handle, without fatigue over time. On the minus side, the layout of the buttons on the base is frankly unsuitable, unless you don't need to use the keyboard. Even the throttle axis is too low as you have to either let go of the stick to reach it or let go of the keyboard. Finally, there are only two pre-programmed configurations when you would expect everything to be fine on any flight game. For example, in IL2-Sturmovik and later, you have to set up everything point by point and it takes a long time. Other than that, it's ok...
