I'm leaving an opinion after 1 year of testing, in other words the PC is very good for small games or in my case photo editing but it has a big negative point which is its autonomy which is really reduced it lasts less than 1 hour on its battery which is very disabling in my opinion.
Originally bought for my travels, I end up using it every day to play games, since my desktop PC died!
This PC is perfect for gaming, with the addition of 8GB of RAM for more possibilities and possibly a hard drive for more space. I've installed Windows 11 on it and it works perfectly.
You'll have to fiddle around in the BIOS to remove the security that prevents Vangard from working (I gave up because I didn't feel like looking any further, but it's pretty easy to navigate inside :D ).
It heats up quite quickly if it's not raised!
I'd definitely recommend it!
Very well delivered laptop on time as usual.
I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of the product.
Quality/price very correct just a change of ram for my part I passed to 2x16go.
For an extra 120 euros I bought a 2TB SSD and an 8GB RAM extension.
You have to dismantle the laptop to install them, but it's easy to do (see the tutorial on Youtube).
When Windows was installed, the SSD was not recognised, so I had to disable the "VMD Controller" in the BIOS.
It took a bit of work to get it up and running, but in the end it turned out to be a great entry-level gamer laptop for under £1000.
Just one negative point, just to install the operating system it doesn't say that you have to install the ssd drivers before the operating system, otherwise a quality laptop for the price.
Very fast delivery, outer box very damaged ( chronopost ? ) but the pc has nothing. Attention to the installation of the os even with windows 11 as recommended, installation impossible as it is because storage device not detected, and no touchpad (usb mouse accept). I had to load the driver on the installation media from the asus site. Once this was done, the second problem was that the touchpad was still non-functional and the I2C HID driver was missing. 8GB ram may be a bit limited but it can be extended to 32GB so it's ok. I recommend it for the price and the service but only for users with computer knowledge for the installation.
