Let's face it, the price is high, but what performance! I never go above 55 degrees, even during intense gaming sessions, and it's so quiet! I can't hear it even though the tower is on my desk.
For water cooling sceptics like me, go for it, you won't regret it.

Efficient, mounted with a ryzen 9 7950X3D (and a correctly ventilated case) it makes coffee. On the other hand, its size is something, it fits in my silent base 802 with 1 cm margin, but make sure it holds (the second fan is higher than the rest because of the ram).
As I'm a bit wary of AIOs, I opted for air cooling rather than liquid cooling. Knowing that there are AIOs for the same price, I'd say that the choice depends on personal convenience.
One star less for the price (the basic version in noctua colour is €10 less but it's ugly, as I have a glass case I wanted something uniform).
I had a faulty watercooling system (msi 240n, sent back to Poland). My processor was heating up between 95 and 100°C.
According to the forums, this ventirad was needed to cool a Ryzen 9, 5900x.
I'm not disappointed, my processor runs at between 50 and 55°C in games.
However, beware of the size of the beast. 20cm x 20 cm × 16 cm.
You really need a big tower.
It's better to have a second computer available or a laptop to download the manual in French, even if everything is not 100% clear, it's easy with the diagrams, whereas in English, even if you manage well, there is too much ambiguity.
I wanted to do my kooky by taking a watercooling AIO of a very known brand and in the end the watercooling died after one year. This ventirad is even more efficient than watercooling, takes less space, and adds airflow to the whole case.
More than enough for intel i5, very quiet and temperatures stay low even in demanding games during long sessions

I couldn't get the temperature of my Ryzen 9 5900x above 72°C after load tests.
The NH-D15 deserves all the praise it has received; it is perfectly capable of efficiently cooling an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor (kept in the 40-60°C range) while remaining very quiet.
All accessories are included to make installation particularly easy. This simplicity should not however make us forget the imposing dimensions of this cooling unit, a minimum of precautions should therefore be taken with regard to the measurements of the case (in particular the width), the motherboard format (ATX recommended) and above all the height of the RAM (I opted for Corsair's low-profiles which are less than 35mm high, which was a wise choice).
Except for space or budget constraints, I see no reason not to warmly recommend this rad.
Fresh air blows into my tower with a temperature of max 55°C on full load. This Noctua is monstrous both in its efficiency and size. And this is the only negative point because now I can't close my tower because the second fan is out of place and protrudes from the chassis of my tower. The only negative point is that I can't close my tower anymore because the second fan is out of place and sticks out of my tower chassis.
Best fan, efficient and quiet. Honestly not much to say, but be careful with the size. It's a really BIG fan so make sure it fits in your case before using it. Depending on the position of your RAM on the motherboard, think of low profile too!

Hello, I changed my ventirad, having changed my pc which did not have a good one. I have always had Noctua ventirads, they are an excellent brand and a very good cooler, even the best! However, I had a big problem, being used to mount PCs, it's the first time it happened to me, I tell you:
I wanted to install the NHD15 on my new PC, I remove the motherboard from my PC to be more comfortable, I disassemble and clean everything, then I install the back plate that brings out the screws in front of the motherboard to put the pastes to receive the rad, so I screw in star the 4 nuts that go in this famous screw that comes out of the motherboard, when I feel the point of force, I put a quarter turn on the first screw, then the second, the third until the all goes well But then I get to the fourth screw and do exactly the same thing, and CLAC! the screw had cracked cleanly!
I called LDLC thinking that they would find a quick solution as they have a great customer service. But, yes again, the person I have on the phone tells me clearly that they can't do anything for me, that it's a "breakage" that I have to call NOCTUA and that I have to see with them if they send me back a black plate (back plate) or I have to see if I can buy another one with them. Because this does not cover the warranty.
So beware on the tightening its "BREAKING"!
I put this note because my cpu needed a top notch ventirad ( 9900ks)
I didn't want to watercool because with this noctua i cool my cpu my nvme my cg at the same time perfect temperature even in summer i recommend
