No problems on a Samsung S20.
However, the operation is more erratic on my Samsung S9 without me knowing if this is related to the hardware or the Android version. It still works, but with disappointing responsiveness (latency in actions on the app or on the cast from the TV app to the TV)

I've been using the google home app for a while now and it's quick and easy to set up from my smartphone, syncing to the box's wifi directly. My pc can also stream live on the TV without any configuration (from the internet, any DD movies read on VLC or other player can't be "casted").
The tel doesn't seem to slow down at all, you can use it for everything without disturbing the "cast" on the TV!

Small but strong and works very well. When there is a connection problem, you have to restart your box and everything falls into place. I am pleasantly surprised by the Google Chromecast. The power supply through the usb plug of the TV works very well. I recommend it if you don't have a connected TV like me. It's very easy to set up, you just have to wait a bit for the update. I'm not sure how much bandwidth you need to have a good wifi connection. It's a good idea to have a good wifi connection, but I'm not sure if I'll need to invest in an Ethernet adapter in the future to avoid the wifi limitation.
Bought it to be able to cast movies and videos in our game room without connecting a device directly to the screen and avoid cables.

Chromecast is a simple, inexpensive and quite practical little device. However, don't be fooled, it's not the Google version of the Apple TV (it doesn't even cost the same). Indeed, where Apple TV is a device in its own right, with its own applications, Chromecast is used to copy the screen of a device (phone or computer) on a TV. In other words, if you want to watch Netflix on your TV, you launch Netflix on your computer (or TV) and "cast" it (that's the term for sending it) to the TV. Conversely, on Apple TV, you launch the Netflix app and watch. It's much simpler, but once again, significantly more expensive... Finally, you should know that not everything can be "casted": no screen sharing of the MS Office suite for example (impossible to send a PowerPoint presentation to a TV with Chromecast (with Apple TV either...).

The chromecast is not exactly what I needed, which was a link between my Samsung tablet and any TV.
Otherwise good product for home use.
It's a shame that you have to maintain the power supply and the Orange TV is not compatible.
Excellent product, does the job very well, only downside, the de-syncronization when asking the google assistant to play at the same time (google home + tv) the decallage is horrible and therefore inaudible. In solo it works perfectly well.

Bought for my mother in law who wanted to get rid of the classic TV and its obsolete content. I have been using it on an old samsung so it's hard to be objective about the ergonomics of the application. The only downside is that I was expecting a chromecast app that was able to juggle between the apps that cast more quickly...
I bought this as a gift, it was delivered very quickly and is already in action. I recommend it to anyone who wants to transform their television into a connected TV.
nothing to say again it works very well I think my TV is a bit old so the sound doesn't come out of my TV just bought a new one I was going to do that but otherwise I recommend this product without hesitation ^^
Easy to install, this little box hides behind a TV and is immediately operational (after a small configuration) ideal for broadcasting multimedia content without latency and without headaches.
I installed it on an hdmi input of the home cinema. The installation is very easy, the connection to the wifi doesn't even require entering the password.
I use it with Netflix, Youtube and Deezer, it works perfectly, the image is fluid and of good quality. I also tested replicating the screen of my mobile to the chromecast, and there, without surprise, the display is much less fluid. But that's not a problem, that's not what the chromecast is for...
Having already a Chromecast of first generation, this one attracts me for the side 1080p 60 FPS but the Chromecast 3 does not even work in 720p 60 FPS it cuts every 2 sec and loads for more than a minute and that in loop. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea.
Very easy to use, even for those who are not used to it, the Chromecast has taken its place behind the television and is completely invisible, so very discreet, and despite this fulfils its role perfectly, it's my first Chromecast and I was very pleasantly surprised, I recommend!
No more lags when playing games or streaming netflix series.

I already had a Chromecast ultra...so I bought this one thinking it would be at or near the same level.

I have a 4k TV and an ADSL connection. For broadcast quality, (molotov TV), even the Xiaomi mi box is better in broadcast quality.
I advise you to buy the Chromecast ultra directly.
