Works but heats up a lot
Formatted in FAT32, the speeds are decent for this price (150 MB/s reading, 30 MB/s writing).
But what worries me is that it heats up a lot even when it's just plugged in, without reading or writing to it.
This isn't a fault of the unit I received, but of the model that's designed like this, as I've seen other comments (on LDLC and other sites) that also mention "overheating".
I normally have full confidence in SanDisk (I have a drive that I've used frequently for over 15 years and it still works perfectly) but I honestly don't think it can last very long.
Maybe I'm wrong and SanDisk has planned ahead, but if in doubt, I wouldn't recommend this drive for 'serious' use or for storing really important data.
That said, it's still a good product, the design is cute and it works normally for the time being. It's up to you to decide how you want to use it.
PS: It's very small (so easy to lose) and doesn't have a cap.
