SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB-C 256 GB
Very practical USB flash drive for use on classic USB type A ports or type C ports (like phones with USB type C OTG ports for example). The model I received was the SDDDC4-256G-G46, which Sandisk says on the packaging can read at "up to 400MB/s" (no value is given for writing). In a test on a desktop computer with a Ryzen 7600 and a motherboard based on the AMD B650 chipset, I found that for a file copy of around 10.5GB, in write mode whether USB-C or USB-A: around 165MB/s for the first 5GB then 77MB/s until the end of the file copy; in read mode USB-C or USB-A: around 380MB/s for the entire file copy. So the transfer rates are pretty good for reading and OK for writing (the drop in the write transfer rate after 5GB of copying on the drive may be due to a temperature threshold reached by the components and set by the manufacturer).
