I give this note because it is a very good product! it works perfectly I recommend it to you 100%.
I'm very pleased with this USB flash drive and it's very good value for money.
I took 4 of them to make backup keys for the bones of the different PCs that I use in my family and friends.
It's a good value for money.
I was looking for a 3.0 flash drive with a good storage capacity and a decent transfer speed, all for a low price... and I have to say that I am rather disappointed. Indeed, this key is slower in writing, which makes its use sometimes tedious. Nevertheless, it does its job and it is the best key I could find despite the different models I tried. I don't really like its design: its length is for me synonymous with fragility although it has proved reliable so far.
I had bought two copies of this key. Both died within 2 days!
After thinking about it, I think that the problem comes from the fact that after a request to safely remove the product, Windows indicates that the key can be removed while the LED on the key keeps blinking.
As the USB flash drive is very fast in writing (checked with an ad-hoc utility), I suppose it has an internal cache (RAM) that buffers the writing of the flash drive's internal flah. As soon as the "cache" is no longer addressed by Windows, it considers the key removable. EXCEPT that the cache has not yet had time to empty itself in the flash memory of the key. If the key is unplugged at this time, the flash is being written and its FAT32 is probably still "open" or between 2 update states. In short, it screws up the key...
IN CONCLUSION: this key must be able to work well, but above all, wait until its LED stops flashing before removing it, EVEN IF Windows indicates that you can unplug it.
