Easy to install
The best ventirad I've ever used, with optimum efficiency even in ultra gaming! Of course it's a ventirad that makes a bit of noise at full power but honestly it's worth it!
The real drawback is its size, but you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs, forget about the 4 rams 3 strips, yes, but the dual is advantageous, I prefer 2 good strips in dual, which is more than enough!
This fan was needed to cool an i5 12600 KF: boosted to 4.7 Ghz, the temperature rarely exceeds 80 degrees.

The Bequiet Dark Rock 4 ventirad offers efficient, silent cooling for high-end processors. Its understated design and build quality make it a reliable choice for long-term performance.
This ventirad does its job very well on an I7 10700KF processor (32°C idle and 81°C max in play after 3 years of use) and ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING motherboard, Corsair Vengeance LPX Series Low Profile RAM 16 GB (2x 8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz CL15. Quiet. The only downside is that it takes up a lot of space in the case (Fractal Design Define R6 Black case) and may interfere with the fan on the fourth RAM slot. To upgrade to 32GB of RAM (same brand and reference but double the capacity), I used 2 replacement memory sticks (slots 1 and 3). The LDLC advisers (thanks to them, very professional and friendly) told me that the fan could be moved slightly higher to gain access to the fourth slot, but I'd rather not touch it. I'll change my mind once I've replaced my sticks.
When used on an I7 9700k and an I5 13400, temperatures do not exceed 60°C in benchmark mode, making it a very high-performance ventirad.
Excellent fan, perfect cooling. Quite bulky: take a good look at the dimensions and choose a suitable tower.
I changed another brand of ventirad 2 years ago because the plastic fixing had broken. I was looking for a more robust aluminium/copper model. The ventilation is very good and the fan makes very little noise. The performance is very good.

Radiator bought after changing processor (ryzen 7 instead of ryzen 5)! Model chosen on the advice of the LDLC technician in Troyes! Perfectly adapted: the temperature does not exceed 40 degrees even with resource-hungry games!

For the moment, the PC remains at a low audible level. The temperature of the Ryzen 7 7700X processor remains below 50° at 500 rpm for office use. Installation is easy. We'll have to see when I 'push' the machine to its limits (recent games or creating 3D models/video montages) if the noise level increases.
I'm doing a summary, I never exceed 50 degrees (CPU, CGU, SSD, RAM) in ultra whether on the latest games of 2023 or older games, no lag, always at least 60fps in ultra 4k, cooling impeccable. I can only recommend all the following components:

I bought a ventirad to avoid the problems of watercooling. I'm very happy with it!
Excellent equipment, the downside is that it's a bit too big. So be careful with that but in general it does its job it is quiet really nothing more to say
I wanted to change my DAW PC this time, and unlike all my previous computers, I decided to choose each component in a configuration that would evolve over time according to my needs.
The silence of a tower is essential in a home studio. To achieve this, I didn't hesitate to pay the price and choose the BE QUIET! DARK ROCK 4 FAN. It's ULTRA quiet.
Just a little quirk when I first used it. I heard a slight whistling sound: the fan had jammed. I pushed it gently with my finger. Since then, nothing ^^
After several months, I'm very happy with this fan.
Mounted on an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 RX, no problems with overheating and really very quiet! The fan can be pulled up to pass over the RAM bars (Gskill for me). The thermal paste supplied is sufficient. Given the height of the system, you'll also need a sufficiently large case.
Takes up a lot of space, of course, but is extremely efficient
After multiple tests, I didn't exceed 45 degrees in silence
Well worth the money
- Very efficient, (in intensive use of 12/12 threads for 10 min the CPU went from 94° to 70° with a Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut pad)
- Very quiet (when it goes off, and given the size of the heat sink, it's less often :)
THE problem is the size
For an ATX motherboard, it blocks a ram slot and is in contact with the thin strip in place, without a radiator => one star less.
=> consider the SLIM version (or an asymmetrical version offset to one side if it exists)
The fan had to be fitted as an extraction fan rather than a suction fan, due to the lack of space with the memory sticks.
After 2 and a half years on a Ryzen 9 5950x, the original thermal paste is no longer doing its job (the thermal conductivity has deteriorated significantly). I'm having reboots due to processor overheating.
It's already the 2nd BeQuiet! product that's causing me problems. I've come to wonder whether the specifications are inflated, because when you push these products into their intended area of use (on paper), they don't hold up at all, or they don't hold up over time (under warranty).
Conclusion: it lives up to its promises, remaining at around 60% of its advertised capacity.

Make sure your case can accommodate this monster, it's imposing, but silent and very effective at cooling your favourite processor.
Easy to fit, cools very well and is fairly quiet. The only problem was that due to the size of my memory sticks, I couldn't install the fan on the radiator in suction mode and had to install it in extraction mode. This is specified on the manufacturer's website, which indicates that the use of memory slots is limited, in this case for an ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus motherboard (see https://www.bequiet.com/fr/motherboardcheck). It's a shame I wasn't told about this in shop, but it works pretty well when extracted.
An imposing radiator, but necessary for cooling the engine.

Originally I had the Wraith Prysm ventirad and I wanted to have a better performance and especially a consequent decrease of the noise.
The Dark Rock 4 answers perfectly. A 5 to 6 degree drop for a barely perceptible background noise.
I took this ventirad because
- I already had a good experience with be quiet.
- I don't have a front panel available on the case to install a WaterCooling all in one solution
the pluses
- Thanks to the size of the fan, it is totally inaudible in normal use and produces a largely bearable murmur when it is at its maximum.
- the processor temperatures (13600kf) are well controlled even at slow speeds
- the assembly is very simple => be sure to locate on the assembly document the type of assembly which corresponds to you
- the small syringe of thermal paste ;)
The minuses are mainly due to my desire to have a small micro atx case
- The attachments of the fan to the ventirad were better before (a tab which does not exist any more allowed to take out the attachment by hand without struggling). it will be annoying when I have to clean the fan and the ventirad blades
- Beware of the thickness of your case, it just barely fits in a Q300L case of corsair
- On a micro atx card the fan may encroach on other components. For my part, one of the RAM slots that I don't need is hidden; when I need to use it, I'll have to raise the fan a little higher so that the ram goes underneath => at that point I'll be bothered by the size of my case
Bad surprise for a medium tower and an ATX motherboard. The fan is very massive, which reassures on its quality but makes it impossible to install on a medium configuration if you don't pay attention. Ingenious system but too strange? The fact of having to attach a fan to this big module is quite incomprehensible although I understand the system but I pass. I don't doubt the quality of the product, the finishing is impeccable, the packaging and the little tools are great but it would have been nice to have the recommendations in terms of dimensions etc.
I bought computer equipment in 2022, which was delivered on time and in good condition ! Once installed, the ventirad
shows all its efficiency around -20°C.

Holds my i5-12600 at 10``°C less than the original intel fan, and with a dazzling silence even at full load for a long time (video compression).
I quickly received the kit for a 1700 base from Be Quiet, free of charge as indicated in the technical advice.
The guy who invented the installation of this ventirad must have been released from a psychiatric hospital, a bit too soon
The back plate of the CM is not included.
I'm still, two days later, wondering how to put the fan clips on a CM AM3+ with the PSU and 4 memory sticks and the EPU pin on the card.
Great, if you install the fan, you can't screw the heatsink in and if you install the heatsink, you can't put the clips in.
Too bad the box is open otherwise it was back in a flash.
Never had problems with Cooler Master on other computers and they are cheaper
I can't hear anything, and yet my PC is well equipped with a fan.
I have an explanation: it's a BE QUIET.
It plays its role perfectly and all in an impressive silence.

I don't rate it a 10 simply because it is so big that it eats a memory slot.
The rest is bomb, no noise, and top notch cooling.
So far my processor has never exceeded 55 degrees on average during a game session.
Easy to install, very quiet, but note: the fan blocks 2 of the 4 RAM slots (on my ASRock B560 Steel legend motherboard) and the size of 159.4mm makes the top pins rub on the transparent part of my U-Aerocool Sl-5100 case (which according to the datasheet admits fans up to 160mm, but I don't know if that takes into account the height of the motherboard)

But the thermal paste supplied is not sufficient and the manual is a gas factory for a simple installation.
Be careful to provide low profile memory sticks.

Quite easy to mount, you have to follow the instructions for an intel 1200 because of the backplate. Does its job well on a non-overclocked i5-11600k (about 32° in idle for 26° outside temp and around 53° in game). On an Asus Tuf Gaming z590, the A1 ram support is condemned by the fan, the A2 just goes through by lifting the fan a bit which then protrudes from the top of the ventirad block (see with LP). The case should be >20 cm wide. It is very quiet, running at less than 300rpm in normal use (internet surfing, downloading, ...)
Ordered to go with a Ryzen 5800x, I needed a high performance model.
This one is very good, a bit cheaper than its big brother, the Dark Rock Pro 4, which allowed me to get a better quality thermal paste ( Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut), for the same price.
The assembly instructions are a bit messy, and I had to refer to the English version because some of the French translations are confusing. Moreover, the assembly of the fan would have deserved a little more detailed explanations, but in the end, it's ok.
The fan itself is rather quiet, thanks to the efficient dissipation
I bought this ventirad to replace an AIO cooler master H60 watercooler, which I found very noisy under load!
Well I was not disappointed, under load the fan is almost inaudible and something that I did not expect and well I gained almost 10 ° from 65 ° / 68 ° degrees in game to 56 ° / 58 ° (processor ryzen 5 3600)
I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check out the features of the fan. It's very easy to install (very nice screwdriver provided in the box by the way)!

I'm not sure who said "this is a great idea" but frankly it's a pain in the ass for me as I didn't know about this system and it's probably easier to install in a PC that's already been built when the CM isn't in the case with a 3070 taking up all the space...

Go for it
When used with an I9 9900KF, the processor does not exceed 73°. The fridge keeps its promises.
However, make sure you have enough room in your tower.
The CPU (socket AM4) is no longer making noise, the two remaining sources of noise are the power supply and the platter disks.
For the assembly, if you follow the advice to take the meter card out of the case, everything goes well. The size is impressive, so beware of small cases.
So it's very good, but I think it's too big for an ITX case.
So it's a good fan, but for an ATX case.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use a memory stick on my cm msi 550 gaming plus, as it's often the case with these huge ventirads.
Update needed on the design of these products,
The backplates of the new nvidia 3000xx are thicker, so this Be Quiet! no longer fits over the first PCI.
For a little more money you can get the NDH15S from Noctua,
It's offset upwards, so the card in the first PCI slot fits without any problems.
And the Rams also pass.
I gained about 20° on my Ryzen 5 3600, really good.
The only downside is the size, the ram bars barely fit.
