Let me be clear, the product is well designed but is unusable because of penny-pinching...
The quality of the screws is terrible!
The first time I unscrewed one, I screwed it up!
But I am meticulous!
Bonus! They are screwed super hard!
Just to be sure you'll ruin the case at the first use!
Second negative point: no internal fixation for the storage media.
In fact, there are 2, but they are made of rubber!
So if you want to tighten the whole thing correctly, the rubber goes over the screw!
You can leave the screws out, but the risk is that the storage bracket will end up disconnected and you'll have to dismantle the screw again...
I'll end on a positive note though: the rest is well designed.

Just a little problem with the detection of the driver to be able to make it work right away. After several tries it worked.
It does the job, and is a good replacement for a predecessor whose removable connection was no longer reliable. I didn't have any problems with the assembly by following the instructions.
The design is quite crude.
Very nice case but the USB cable is really too short. It's fine to plug it into the USB port of a laptop but behind a tower, you have to put it on something. It's a shame.
I've been advised by LDLC service because I wanted to buy another case that was not compatible with my PC! I'm very happy with this product.
I was very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. We will see in time. The plastic screws seem to wear out easily. Good looks, very light housing.
I'm a photographer,
I practice nomadic photography and I regularly save my photos and I tested a lot of cameras and often the problem comes from the cable which sooner or later ends up bending the camera connector.
With this case ICY has circumvented this problem with a cable sealed in the structure and a well thought storage
for the rest it's classic

I have to say that I'm not sure what to do with the equipment, but I'm not sure I'd be able to do it.
Robust case, but slightly bulky
On the other hand, a big "-" to the system of opening / change of disc.
Not only the screws are in a very fragile plastic at sight.
Moreover, to plug / unplug the disc, you have to push it in "crooked", which after a few times risks breaking the connections of the disc or (especially) the case...
I don't recommend it if you want to change the disc occasionally. If you want to insert a disc permanently, why not.

Robust case, mixing plastic and silicone on the edge, a little bit big but which holds well in hand. The assembly is very easy: 6 screws to be removed with a PH1 screwdriver. An internal silicon shell holds the disk in the case. The finish is good even if I would have preferred the hexagonal screws to be the real ones, as they are only there for style. The case has a useful blue LED that lights up when the case is connected and flashes during drive activity. The downside is that the built-in USB (SS) cable is far too short to connect to my all-in-one PC without an extension cable... It was a good idea, but it should go all the way around the case to be long enough. Thank you for correcting this defect on the whole range. That's why I'm only giving it 4*.
