A little defence of my mouse, still going strong despite her age

After reading a lot of negative reviews about this mouse, I wanted to defend a product that I've had no problems with. After almost 8 years of use, it still works perfectly. The buttons have never jammed and the scroll wheel is still in very good condition. As it's battery-operated, I was afraid I'd have to buy new ones very often, but no, despite hours of playing, a battery lasts me at least 6 months (often much longer, I don't keep a battery change diary, but I have time to forget that it exists between each change). About a year ago, one of the non-slip 'patches' started to peel off, which is (a bit) annoying. The only reason I'm buying a new mouse is to have one to take to work and leave behind. Summary: a good mouse, for the price, no real reason to complain (unless the production quality has dropped to a point I can't quantify, on the scale of a single mouse bought in 2016).

the quality is as good as the price

The first mouse I received did not work. Of course Idlc sent me a new one. I've been using it for a while now and it's not working, but it's a good idea to get a new one for the first time.

        Average mouse for its price

Even if the price is not prohibitive, the quality is quite average. The left click is always squeaking and the DPI, at times, is just too much. Another point that is quite redhibitory is its lightness. It is a bit too pronounced and only the battery is a bit heavy. I've been using it for two months now, and it's a good idea to keep it in a safe place. I have been using this mouse for 2 months with the supplied battery without any sign of weakness.

        Not great

I've just unpacked it, the left click is blocked and it comes with an out of order battery...
        Disproportionate value for money!

        Low quality, do not buy

For 25 euros you can't expect a miracle but this is a complete waste of money. The anti-slip coating on the left/right buttons broke off after 2 weeks, nothing very serious but quite unsightly.

I had a lot of battery consumption at times, which lasted me barely a month, then everything went back to normal. Apparently it's a known problem but let's move on, after all I have rechargeable batteries.

New problem arrived last week, this time the DPI/Back/Forward buttons don't work at all... I test under linux and then windows, and to my surprise they work fine but don't send the right associated codes anymore (knowing that the DPI button is completely autonomous, it shouldn't send anything to the OS). I think I'm out of luck, then I discover on the internet that this problem has been known for a long time and has been reported on various forums and especially in the amazon comments.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Hopefully this will happen during the warranty period.

In short, don't buy this kind of crap and forget about "Spirit of gamer".

        Unreliable Mouse

I do not recommend buying this mouse.
The side buttons were not recognized correctly after 6 days of use.
This is a common problem with this model and therefore unusable for games.
        I have requested a refund.

        Medium Mouse

The mouse is very average, it looks like a gamer mouse with a lot of features but I would only recommend it for moderate office use.
I bought one 4 years ago which broke down two years ago, I bought the same one to replace it and the new one has also just broken down, so this mouse has an average life of two years.

        Quality:
        - Fits well in the hand.
        - The notched wheel is nice.
        - Cheap.
        - Reasonable battery life.

        Defects:
        - Very fragile "double clik" button (both my mice had this button functional for only a few days but I didn't use it so... ).
        - Side buttons not programmable in games. (assigned as keyboard shortcuts "Shift" and "CTRL left").
        - No drivers provided.
        - Very sensitive laser on some too rough surfaces.

In conclusion: Serves well as a spare mouse or troubleshooter but is far from being a gamer mouse as the design or the product presentation makes it seem.

Good mouse that turns off every 8 seconds.

I was in need of a new mouse and thought that a gamer mouse would be good, but I was wrong about the product, the mouse turns off every 8 seconds and I spend my time having problems playing games because of this.

        Disappointed

I received the first mouse, which worked fine for a month or so, then it broke down
I asked for a return, it was exchanged, I received a new mouse which never worked...
I sent the mouse back one last time and asked for a refund
        I can't recommend this model

The quality is very average, the left click is regularly squeaky, and it occasionally misses some clicks.
I don't see it as a gamer mouse, but as a decent office mouse.

        Very good value for money

The ergonomics of this mouse are good, it is practical with its multiple buttons and the precision is correct.
I recommend the Spirit of Gamer Pro M9, it should satisfy you in the most diverse uses, and this for a very correct price.

        Good value for money

Very good mouse for this price, I really expected worse but everything works perfectly except maybe the left button which tends to squeak a bit, surely a minor defect.
I use it for office work and to play CS:GO and it's good enough for me.

        CLEAR

pluses : wireless, light, double-click button, 3 choices of DPI, the price
minuses: too light sometimes, no adjustment possible, button click not so quiet

I bought it for the price. does the job. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to add a few bucks to get a better one, but it's a good idea.

        Medium

Hi, I bought this mouse as my first gaming mouse. Honestly, it has done its job well:

I've been using it for a while now, but it's been a great help.

Negative points: double click + scroll wheel broken after 2 days, not accurate without mouse pad, small, no software

        QUICK AND EASY TO INSTALL.
        HANDY AND ERGONOMIC
DELIVERED ON TIME IN ITS BOX AND VERY WELL PROTECTED
THE BUTTONS RESPOND PERFECTLY AND THE ROULETTE WHEEL IS A REAL TREAT
RECOMMENDED FOR THE MOST DEMANDING PLAYERS, EVEN THOSE WHO DON'T USE IT TO PLAY

        Very good mouse

Small, and compact, but its height allows a good grip for a medium sized hand. I would have liked an on/off button on the mouse, but it is enough to unplug the usb.
The buttons are perfect, nothing to say.

        Very temperamental mouse

Mouse works when it wants to. The keys squeak with each click, finally very few programmable keys, no key management software. The plug has to be plugged in not too far from the mouse, otherwise it doesn't work anymore (currently 1 m away from my mouse).

        Satisfied

It has a nice shape and a practical size, and does not fall into the usual miniaturisation of wireless mice. It is easy to use and install.
The only flaw is that it weighs only as much as the batteries, which is what I'm used to - too light a weight prevents quick precision.

        Good but without software

Works well but there is no software to set up the softkeys supplied with it so you have to use third party software found on the net.

        I recommend

        Not too expensive

Smile goes to sleep, good for the battery which lasts longer

        Smile :)

        It's a smile that I recommend.
Auto power off when the computer is turned off or the dongle disconnected.
Energy efficient, I put in a 2000mah rechargeable battery and for 3 months I haven't recharged it, except that I use it almost every day, really incredible.
In hand, it is very handy and light.

        Super mouse

For this price you get a good deal. 6 buttons, 3 (left/right clik +wheel), the others programmable. Heavy duty use with no worries. It installs easily by itself as soon as the gold-plated sensor is plugged in and the battery installed. Goes into sleep mode to save battery. Pay attention to the right/left choice.

        Good but not perfect

This gamer mouse is very well designed, the buttons are well positioned and its sensitivity setting is very effective but you need a good quality mouse pad for it to detect movement properly and its double click button is a bit too stiff.

        Good product

Very nice mouse for the price, the small options are not necessarily the most useful, but still welcome! The underside of the mouse is also very smooth, so you don't have to worry too much when you need to move your hand quickly, and the DPI button in the middle of the mouse is very useful to manage the sensitivity between 3 preset speeds!

        Price and quality

The mouse is affordable and of good quality.
Only one LR6 battery is required for use (the battery cover tends to come off too often if the mouse is shaken too much, so be careful)
Can be used for both gaming and working, although for pro users it might be missing some buttons or options.

The whole thing is quite decent, positive review.
