High-performance, ergonomic mouse received in perfect condition. Same aesthetics as a Deathaddder with fewer buttons...
Excellent product, my son is very happy. The price is right. He uses it for his video games.
I bought this product at the beginning of 2022.
I had to call in the warranty (exchange for a new mouse) the first time after just one year.
Now, after 2 years and 3 months (i.e. after the legal manufacturer's warranty period), the 2nd mouse has reached the end of its life.
The problem is identical to that of the first: the scroll wheel no longer works properly, it jumps forwards and backwards all the time. This makes it impossible to use.
I strongly advise against using this mouse for :
- Daily use.
- If you want a mouse that lasts a year.
I don't know if it's my mouse that has a defect, but within the first few months of receiving it I started having problems with the scroll wheels scrolling down when I scroll up, and over time the problems got worse. Now the left click doesn't work completely, sometimes it doesn't pick up clicks, sometimes the hold click drops during drag and drop. I have never encountered this kind of problem so quickly with a mouse, usually it happens after several years of intensive use, here it is not the case.
I'm assuming that my mouse has a manufacturing defect, but after contacting Razer, I couldn't send it back for warranty because I opened it up to check that there wasn't a piece of dust or plastic stuck inside. This is the first Razer mouse I've bought, and it will be the last. I am saddened by this, as I expected better quality and support from such a well known brand in the computer peripherals industry.
I've been using the mouse for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it again. It is no longer recognized on any of the PCs that have received it since then, reinstallation and updates have done nothing, I count on the LDLC customer support, which is supposed to be great, to help me fix it, otherwise it's expensive for 4 months for a mouse of this quality...
