A little defence of my mouse, still going strong despite her age

After reading a lot of negative reviews about this mouse, I wanted to defend a product that I've had no problems with. After almost 8 years of use, it still works perfectly. The buttons have never jammed and the scroll wheel is still in very good condition. As it's battery-operated, I was afraid I'd have to buy new ones very often, but no, despite hours of playing, a battery lasts me at least 6 months (often much longer, I don't keep a battery change diary, but I have time to forget that it exists between each change).
About a year ago, one of the non-slip 'patches' started to peel off, which is (a bit) annoying.
The only reason I'm buying a new mouse is to have one to take to work and leave behind.

Summary: a good mouse, for the price, no real reason to complain (unless the production quality has dropped to a point I can't quantify, on the scale of a single mouse bought in 2016).

    Average mouse for its price

Even if the price is not prohibitive, the quality is quite average. The left click is always squeaking and the DPI, at times, is just too much. Another point that is quite redhibitory is its lightness. It is a bit too pronounced and only the battery is a bit heavy. I've been using it for two months now, and it's a good idea to keep it in a safe place. I have been using this mouse for 2 months with the supplied battery without any sign of weakness.

    Not great

I've just unpacked it, the left click is blocked and it comes with an out of order battery...
    Disproportionate value for money!

    Low quality, do not buy

For 25 euros you can't expect a miracle but this is a complete waste of money. The anti-slip coating on the left/right buttons broke off after 2 weeks, nothing very serious but quite unsightly.

I had a lot of battery consumption at times, which lasted me barely a month, then everything went back to normal. Apparently it's a known problem but let's move on, after all I have rechargeable batteries.

New problem arrived last week, this time the DPI/Back/Forward buttons don't work at all... I test under linux and then windows, and to my surprise they work fine but don't send the right associated codes anymore (knowing that the DPI button is completely autonomous, it shouldn't send anything to the OS). I think I'm out of luck, then I discover on the internet that this problem has been known for a long time and has been reported on various forums and especially in the amazon comments.
I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Hopefully this will happen during the warranty period.

In short, don't buy this kind of crap and forget about "Spirit of gamer".

    Unreliable Mouse

I do not recommend buying this mouse.
The side buttons were not recognized correctly after 6 days of use.
This is a common problem with this model and therefore unusable for games.
    I have requested a refund.
