OK!
Received in good condition. Mounted without any problem. Works very well under linux ubuntu studio.
Still need to check before purchase if the motherboard is recent enough and has the necessary connectors.

This accessory avoids the need to buy a new case to have USB3 on the front panel and is equipped with the (sufficiently long) internal connection cables.
This product is of good quality: the case is solid, the plastic on the front panel is sturdy, the connectors are of good quality, both on the front panel and to the motherboard. The length of the cables is long and should fit the vast majority of cases.
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it with a new motherboard or not.
Simple and efficient, it fits perfectly in the front panel if you combine it with an adapter (ICY DOCK Flex-Fit Trio MB343SP).
Well, I couldn't test the USB3, due to the lack of a connector on a rather old CM, but I give 10/10 to the USB2!
I'm very pleased with this product, it works perfectly for connecting a USB stick or external hard drive.
The product was shipped quickly and well packaged.
It combines very well with a front adapter from a 3.5" to a 5.25" (Flex-Fit Trio MB343SP) as Thierry G. says.
Thanks LDLC
On an old case but working with a recent Motherboard (with USB 3), I replaced the card reader with AKASA Interconnects. Works perfectly to connect USB stick or external hard drive.
Adds four USB ports on the front panel, two of which are USB3.
The two cables, to connect the HUB to the internal USB3 and USB2 ports, are more than long enough for a large tower case (length 75cm).
A Corsair "Voyager GT" flash drive, connected to one of the USB3 ports, writes and reads at a speed of 190MB/s.
Icing on the cake: usefully plugs the slot of a 3"1/2 floppy drive that became useless a long time ago.
Immediately recognized under Windows 7.
Works perfectly.
Installed with a 3.5" front adapter in a 5.25" (Flex-Fit Trio MB343SP).
Very pleased with this hardware which increases the number of USB ports on the front of my case.
I wanted to mount usb3 on an old tower, my computer does office and multimedia.
To succeed, I installed a usb3 extension on a PCIe silverstone EC04-E slot with 2 rear ports and 2 internal ports to connect the AKASA ICR12 2 usb2 and 2 usb3b on the front. Since I no longer have a 3.5" slot to install the hub, I added an internal HDD rack from 3.5" to 5.25" LIAN LI MF-515 (BLACK). To finish my tower has now, 4 usb3 and 2 usb2 more for about sixty euro, it works very well
The ports work very well on my i5 4th gen refresh, the computer recognized it the first time it was installed (it is on Windows 7). It's very discreet on a black case, but I had to use an adapter and it hides quite well (HP pavilion 2008 chassis).
purchase on Sunday delivered on Tuesday.
The product was as I expected, very easy to install, only 5 minutes.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the service. I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and the quality of the service.
I've been using it for a while now and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for a while.
Thank you LDLC.
The cables are long, well shielded, the front plugs look solid, and I'm very happy for the price. I had six usb ports on the back and it wasn't enough! My wife wants the same for her pc! A must-have.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the USB plugs, but I'm sure it's a good idea to use the USB plugs. It does its job and that's what we want it to do ^^.
It is a great way to update boxes that at the time were not USB 3 capable, only its size forces us to get a 5.25 adapter, otherwise. NICKEL
