ROG NX Snow mechanical switches
The ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless is equipped with ROG NX Snow mechanical switches. Pre-lubricated NX Snow linear switches with a walled stem that improves stability and prevents dust intrusion.
Wired or wireless: 3 connection options
Offering great freedom of use with its three connection modes, the ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless keyboard will easily adapt to all your desires. Choose Bluetooth to give you the option of connecting up to 3 different devices. The 2.4 GHz RF wireless mode will live up to your expectations, with low latency and up to 1500 hours of battery life.
Finally, the standard USB wired version lets you recharge your keyboard while you keep playing!
Key features:
Keyboard with red mechanical switches (ROG NX Snow switches)
96% layout
Hot-swappable switches
Actuation point: 1.8 mm
3 connection modes: Bluetooth, RF 2.4 GHz, wired USB
The keyboard is extremely comfortable
High-quality keystrokes
The battery lasts a long time
(although depending on the brightness level of the rgb, this may drop more quickly)
The only downside for me
There's no fast charging
Be sure to allow several hours for wired charging
It's a fairly minor negative point, but in 2024 it's a shame not to have a quick charge.

Should be standard availability
Better than the TKL layout (without numeric keypad) and the usual layout. The keyboard is narrower (375 mm), so the mouse is closer. And that's with the removal of a few unnecessary keys, such as 'scroll stop'. Why isn't this standard, I don't understand?
The keyboard is also of very good quality. The key lighting is bright enough. The most surprising thing is how little noise the keys make. I've had several mechanical keyboards and this is by far the quietest.
It's worth noting that this keyboard allows you to replace the keys AND switches by simply extracting them, unlike SteelSeries, for example.
The battery lasts a week. The button next to the volume wheel vaguely indicates the state of charge.
The Armoury software that manages the keyboard's configuration does the job, but it's a real pain.
In conclusion, I'd recommend this model without hesitation, even if it is a bit expensive.

Incredible keyboard!
This keyboard is really top-notch: it's compact but still has all the keys of a conventional keyboard. I thought I'd have trouble adapting to the close-knit keys, but it's nothing of the sort!
As far as the battery is concerned, frankly there's nothing to say, it easily lasts 1 week with RGB at 80%.
I can't recommend it highly enough!
