Good 180hz IPS
LDLC+CHRONOPOST = Top notch. Otherwise a good 25" 1080p 180hz IPS screen. The downside is that it's in the gaming category, which means that the colour settings make no sense, apart from degrading the image. The only option is sRGB in pro mode. Forget the rest, and for brightness it's a function of your ambient lighting. From there, you get a calibration that looks like something and the colours are really nice, no oversaturation, this screen doesn't go beyond 99% sRGB, which is very good news if you don't want to ruin your eyes. The white point and gray scale are also good (in sRGB mode), which once again makes it really comfortable, but when you get into the greys/dark colours, that's when you stop being impressed. It's IPS, so there's no big surprise there, despite the advantages over VA. Blacks are basically grey on this technology, especially if you're using it in a dark room, where it will be obvious (even more so if you're watching a film). As far as I'm concerned, there's no problem with the IPS Glow, and as for the backlight bleed ... it's really light, otherwise I'd have returned it. In short, it's good, and believe me, I've seen much worse at much higher prices, and I won't name the brands. So at this price, I'm personally keeping it. Long live MSI ... well, it depends on the product.
