The pleasure of large-format reading

The Vivlio InkPad 4 has a superb7.8" E Ink Carta 1200 screen with a resolution of 1404 x 1872 and 300 PPP. The screen is even more pleasing to the eye, with improved contrast and even faster response times than the previous model. This XXL library can be expanded with a wide variety of files. The InkPad 4 is compatible with more formats than any of its rivals. It reads standard formats (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, TXT, etc.), illustrated formats (CBR, CBZ), digital books borrowed from libraries (protected by LCP) and even audio books!

A well-thought-out, well-designed e-reader

If you want to listen to what you're reading, the InkPad 4 gives you a choice: either by connecting headphones via Bluetooth, or via the built-in speaker. The InkPad 4 is really handy for listening to your audio books or digital books read by voice synthesis.

It also has IPX8 water resistance and enhanced scratch protection, so it can withstand the hazards of reading on any terrain (or simply by the pool!). Good size and configurable

I find that the screen size is perfect for reading, apart from the fact that it makes the reader a bit heavier.
This is my first Vivlio e-reader and I really like it, it's very configurable and has physical buttons, which is rare enough to be worth mentioning!

    Almost perfect.

    Very good reader.
It's mainly the size that made me decide.
The real size of a pocket book or manga.
    Below that it's really tiny.
    Unreadable for me.
And also the freedom of possible sources (library or personal Epub) and media (pdf, Epub, cbz...). You're not tied to Amazon, Cultura, etc.
The 2 "grey" points would be small slowdowns from time to time. It's when the device starts up and not at all during reading.
This is the case with all e-readers.
The 2nd point would be the contrast, which isn't as good as on kindle or kobo. But it's slight.
The rest is top notch, autonomy, settings, fonts ...
What's more, it's beautiful. Everyone wants to steal it ... ??
PS: I took the cover of the pocketbook, which is its American twin.
