The HDfury Arcana allows any HDMI source (Full HD source, Blu-ray, multimedia players, satellite receivers, games consoles, PCs, etc.) to be displayed on any connected screen. It also allows any HDMI audio source to be transmitted to any eARC/ARC or HDMI audio system, up to Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby MAT Atmos, DTS-X, DTS-HD Master Audio and earlier formats.
On the hardware side, Arcana includes an HDMI input, an HDMI output with scaling option, an eARC output, a USB Type A port for upgrades, a USB Type C port for power and RS232 connectivity. It also features an OLED display and a rotary/wheel switch on the side for navigating/selecting and making changes to the device's system menu. The Arcana's input is capable of handling 4K HDR/HLG/DV/LLDV/HDR10+ at up to 18 Gbit/s for video and supports any existing audio format. The HDMI video output is capable of producing 18 Gbit/s or reducing the 4K/UHD display to a 2K/FHD display. It also supports all sound formats.
On the software side, EDID management ensures the best possible mix of TV video and audio capabilities at all times. HDCP conversion is possible in any way and the device can downscale and perform signal operations such as chrominance/colour depth or colour space.
