Compact and efficient
There's nothing to complain about with this switch.
Its big pluses are clearly its format and its 2.5G compatibility, all silently.
The D-Link DMS-105/E is a plug-and-play multi-Gigabit Ethernet switch that provides ultra-fast Ethernet connections to your network core or network storage device. You can easily connect multiple computers in minutes and start sharing an Internet connection, files, music and video across your small office or home network.
The DMS-105 includes traffic management features such as IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and IEEE 802.3x flow control. 802.1p QoS classifies traffic into 8 priority levels to prioritise different types of traffic according to their importance. Flow control temporarily stops data transmission when the switch's input buffer is full, helping to minimise dropped packets and provide a more reliable connection for all your connected devices.
2.5 Gigabit ports provide a high-bandwidth connection to Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices and Wi-Fi 6 access points/routers. Ideal for demanding business or home network set-ups, it allows users to access network resources and transfer large media files at blazing speeds.

Very good equipment, 2 Gb/s output to all my peripherals, the maximum offered by my telephone operator.
I was surprised by the size of the box, really small, it can be positioned anywhere, even in a communication box, so a very good point, moreover that's why I chose it it consumes very little compared to other manufacturers (5W), it is .however multi-gig.
As far as speed is concerned, yes, the 5 2.5G ports are perfect.
As indicated on the box, a blue LED means 2.5gb, a green LED means Gigabit, and orange means 100Mb.
I can only recommend this product.
But the prices are crazy between a Gigabit version and a 2.5Gb version, but hey! you can't change your mind, it needs to boost...
