Enjoy a comfortable display in all circumstances with the MSI MEG 342C QD-OLED monitor! Designed primarily for gaming, it offers high performance thanks to its curved OLED panel, 175 Hz frequency, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and ultra-fast response time.
QD-OLED Technology
With the MSI MEG MEG342C QD-OLED monitor, a blue light emitting layer works in conjunction with an innovative Quantum dot layer to ensure excellent colour reproduction and deeper, more accurate black tones. The response time is as low as 0.1ms, ensuring a high quality gaming experience. With this QD-OLED display, get ready to rediscover the joy of gaming! The QD-OLED panel can control each pixel independently to provide more intense black tones without backlight bleeding. This screen also offers a smooth and fast display thanks to a refresh rate of 175 Hz and a fast response time of 0.1 ms (grey to grey).
34-inch curved screen in 21:9 format
With its extra-large display area and 1800R curved OLED panel, the MSI MEG MEG342C QD-OLED monitor offers a comfortable and immersive display. The 21:9 display format is ideal for multitasking and using PBP/PIP/KVM functions.
Comprehensive connectivity
This monitor features HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort. It also has a USB-C connector with DisplayPort signal support and charging capability up to 65 Watts. This monitor has a USB hub with 4 USB 3.0 ports.
Main features:
34-inch screen with UWQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels)
Curved OLED-QD panel
Typical high contrast: 1,000,000:1
Ultra-fluid display with a display frequency of 175 Hz
Life-changing compared to my old screen (which was upgraded in my configuration), which was already a 34" ultra-wide: image quality, contrast and colour are like night and day.
I use it to work (one page on each side of the screen) as well as to play.
Negative point: even with mystic light I couldn't find a way of changing the colour of the light bar outside the colours available in the screen options.

Very nice screen with lots of features but...
A very nice screen:
- obviously, the quality of the OLED panel is beyond reproach, but that's the minimum given the range.
the plus points in my opinion :
- the settings menu is comprehensive and superbly ergonomic
- there are a number of image modes for all situations, and there's also a built-in brightness sensor with the option of setting the screen to 'auto brightness' mode
- even if the joystick is ergonomic, you can download a tool (MSI Gaming intelligence) to make settings from your desktop using the mouse (tested under Windows)
- there's a built-in microphone
- the RGB bar can be deactivated or synchronised with the displayed image
- USB & KVM hub
- the usb-C port works perfectly in video + charge mode with my laptop
- the screen automatically selects the source, so there's no need to switch manually, although you can put a shortcut for that on the joystick
- subjective: the design is pretty plain for a gaming screen
- there's a whole host of options to protect the OLED panel from burn-in (still image detection, logos, taskbar, etc.)
BUT
on the negative side, and I almost gave it 4 stars because of this:
- The screen periodically (every 4 hours of use for the "short-term" protection) performs a "protection cycle" on the panel that lasts about fifteen minutes (black screen). You can override this and click for the cycle to take place the next time you switch to standby, but 15 minutes every 4 hours of use comes back quickly and I wasn't expecting it.
In the same vein, there's also an even longer 'long-lasting' protection cycle.
This is my opinion, otherwise LDLC R.A.S. fast shipping and delivery in the DOM is perfect.

Perfect
No worries. Really magnificent screen with its QD OLED panel. The blue Light reduction pro mode is particularly interesting if you play a lot in the evening.

Excellent product
No worries, very easy to install and get to grips with. The Display Port seems to work better than HDMI, but I don't know why (PC: MEG Trident X 14th).
