Good screen, but deplorable return policy
The OLED screen offers impressive picture quality, and there's nothing to complain about here. However, I'm extremely disappointed with LDLC's returns policy. After discovering small paint chips, a faulty DisplayPort cable and a small scratch after the very short 72 hour reporting period, I was simply refused an exchange.
I subscribed to the Zen pack, which extends my warranty to 28 days, but as my request was made after 14 days, I was told that if I wanted to return the screen, the pack would not be refunded.
These defects, however minor, may not have a direct impact on the operation of the device, but they clearly affect the experience of a product that is supposed to be brand new. When you invest in a screen of this quality and at this price, you expect a customer service that takes these situations into account, not such a rigid policy.
It's a shame that such a high-performance screen should be associated with such a disappointing customer policy.
