Eaton's Gigabit Network Card and Industrial Gateway Card are the first UPS connectivity devices to meet UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 cybersecurity standards. It is designed to enhance cybersecurity protection for industrial facilities and large data centres. It is compatible with the MODBUS communication protocol. The card provides real-time monitoring of the UPS system and environment via a building management system (BMS) or industrial automation system (IAS). It allows facility managers to monitor UPS status, power conditions, temperature and humidity within the UPS network, providing early warning of any threats to the system.
