The QNAP TDS-h2489FU NAS offers 24 2.5" bays dedicated to SSDs. Powered by two Intel Xeon Silver 4309Y processors and expandable with up to 1TB of DDR4 ECC memory, the TDS-h2489FU delivers server-grade performance with high reliability. The pre-installed 2-port 25GbE network card helps improve performance for bandwidth-intensive applications and reduce CPU load.
With the QuTS hero operating system under ZFS, the TDS-h2489FU ensures data integrity and supports online block-level data deduplication and compression, virtually unlimited snapshots and real-time SnapSync. Whether for business-critical file servers, virtualization servers, collaborative video editing, or efficient data backup and recovery applications, the TDS-h2489FU delivers a high-performance NAS solution.

PCI-Express Slots for Expansion Cards
The TDS-h2489FU has two PCIe 4.0 slots (one of which is already occupied by a card with two 25 GbE ports) that allow for the installation of various expansion cards to tailor the use of the NAS to the business needs. It will thus be possible to add low-profile graphics cards without an additional power connector, in particular to increase virtualisation performance.
