Correct, but not conclusive
The advantages :
. Comfortable, enveloping earpieces that help to isolate from the outside world. Moreover, the 2 earpieces respect the ears and are deep enough not to compress them especially around, which is appreciable on long listening sessions.
. can be worn with glasses (if the temples are not too thick)
. Without being a featherweight, this headset is quite light if you take into account the battery that is inside.
. . immediately recognized by W10
. Clear sound, with 3 choices of tones
. Good range, yes, the advertised 15m is correct, but of course not with a blockhouse between you and the transmitter PC
. Quite a compact package, and gives a good impression of quality.
The disadvantages :
. You have to search forums/websites to find out how this headset works, and how to adjust it/use the buttons on it. No clear instructions included.
. Hot! Beware, if you are in a hot place, the plastic on top of the head will make you sweat.
. Also, it is a bit hard and after a long use (+2h), I found the inner lining of the headband a little bit too hard.
. Quality of the microphone is ok, but not more (in standard configuration)
. No manual mic mute (which would be useful to mute the mic during asides)
. No indication of charge or battery life
Neutral opinion :
. The autonomy. 2 hours for me, new battery charged.
Conclusion :
I kind of miss my 2 old wired headphones: a HyperX HX-HSCA-RD Cloud Alpha and especially my very comfortable Sennheiser PC 360. I wanted to try wireless, and it's just ok. We'll see if, with use, the longevity will be better (and the autonomy won't plunge...)
