Sound bar compact enough to fit under a PC screen
Sufficient to provide sound for office use.
Of course there are cheaper bars, but this one has an analogue input (3.5" jack), which is exactly what I was looking for, as well as HDMI ARC ( * ) and two optical inputs.
I'm not a sound specialist, so perhaps I'm quick to be satisfied, but in any case I'm very happy with this one, which does the job very well. The interface is minimalist without being cheap: contact buttons on the bar, remote control or smartphone app, and discreet indicator lights for sound and parameter confirmations.
( * ) The LDLC specification sheet mentions 'HDMI', so I can confirm that it's indeed ARC.
Compact sound bar, ideal for putting under your PC screen. Powerful, good bass, good surround sound. The analogue input is very useful, it's becoming increasingly rare to find one.
As for the sound quality, the precision is not as good as it should be, it's a pity for a device of this price. This is my first Yamaha device, I much prefer Sony sound for this type of device.
The phone app allows you to adjust everything: subwoofer level, effects, volume. For everyday use the volume on the top of the device is sufficient, but for occasional settings it's a good idea.
