I hesitated at first, as I found the price high for my infrequent use. However, I do not regret my purchase at all. The metal case is robust and well finished. The burning is quiet and fast (sorry, I don't have any performance tests). The USB-C connection is really great. The semi-rigid storage case is also well made. The delivery, as usual, was made on time (with one day in advance). Great job!
Small size, plays CDs and DVDs without any software (Mac). However, you have to download software to play BRDs. I am happy with it.
I am not disappointed with my purchase, on the contrary, the whole thing looks very solid with the aluminium case! I was also able to try it out by doing ISOs of several DVDs already and it's quite fast. Thank you.
- This "INOVU BRD-01" is a player/writer made for CD, Blu-ray (not 4K/UHD) and DVD; with a wide compatibility.
- It comes with a USB-C to USB 3.0 Micro-B cable (length 45cm), a Y-USB 3.0+2.0 to USB 3.0 Micro-B cable (length 45cm), a well-fitting protective case, and a sufficient manual.
- It opens with a drawer, and the frame is made of aluminium (which makes it quite resistant).
- Simple to install and use, it plugs in "Plug and play", and is self-powered via USB.
- For dusting, you will need to use a dry air spray (or compressor). To clean the lens, you will need to use a cotton swab with a little 70° alcohol (or 90°); classic.
- The solidity is to be seen in time.
In short, it's all good.
